You will be given all the necessary knowledge to develop new and innovative work in the fields of image creation, 3D Graphics, animation, environment modelling, texturing, character concept, design and modelling. Students are encouraged to explore and develop ideas by utilising the latest computer technologies and software. Students work within a production group to develop game-related content using a simulated development cycle. You will produce all concepts, characters, assets and game documentation then implement this into a game engine environment and eventually into the creation of a working game demo. These ideas are developed further with the production of a game demo/proof of concept, based on your own specifications, as part of your final major project. The course will give you essential skills to use within the Games Industry along with the ability to academically analyse and evaluate your own game ideas and designs.
