You’ve not missed your chance to purchase raffle tickets! Maude Haeger, whose quilts have been exhibited in shows throughout the country, has created the Spirit of the Wind quilt to ECSF to raise funds to help Ohio families emerge from homelessness and unemployment. The artist writes: “The word spirit has many connotations, beginning with the Holy Spirit which is to be our comforter and our prompter towards those things that will help others. May the Holy Spirit bless and inspire our Ohio community to wave our banner high and help us win the battle against poverty!” Chances cost $10 each or 6 for $50. You can buy chances from ECSF's website, www.ECSFsouthernohio.org. The Spirit of the Winds quilt will be raffled Aug. 17 at ECSF’s Bike Fest in Dayton. You need not be present to win.
