Welcome to our Summer Season brochure. We are delighted to introduce our packed programme of exciting live theatre, music and cinema. There truly is something for everyone so don’t be afraid to flick through and pick out your favourites! If you have been to the venue recently, you will have noticed quite a lot of exciting developments. We’ve had new energy efficient LED lighting installed throughout and our bar has undergone a complete makeover, making it warmer and more inviting for that special social occasion between you, your family and your friends. YOUNG COMPANY We are launching our very own youth theatre in September 2019 for young creatives aged between 7yrs and 25yrs. Weekly sessions will provide participants expert training in all areas of theatre making from acting to movement and from writing and producing to marketing and technical theatre. Trinity has a history dating back to 1843 when it existed as a parish church. Our theatre tours take you through the decades to show you how this magnificent Grade II listed building has been at the heart of the community right up to today where it functions as a theatre. This month we are delighted to bring Jonny Awsum well known from his performance on 2017’s Britain’s got Talent making it through to the LIVE Semi-Finals, Angela Barnes who’s appeared on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and Russell Howard’s Good News. This month we have Scott Bennett, one of the most highly-rated rising stars on the circuit, he has supported Michael McIntryre and Rob Brydon on tour. Plus Brennan Reece, winner of English Comedian of the Year 2016. Plus Jack Campbell.

We welcome Somerset's Laura Lexx Winner of the Comedians Choice Award 2018 (Best Performer) and Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue, a comedy duo fresh from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Fantastic comedy magician Mandy Muden will be performing, after wowing audiences at last years BGT. Our very special guest this month has appeared on Live at the Apollo and as a regular panellist on Mock The Week.

Join us for a fun night of comedy at Gainsborough’s premier Picturehouse & Theatre. Presented by the award-winning Funhouse Comedy Club in association with Trinity Arts Centre, this rib tickling evening is guaranteed to have you rolling in the aisles. There is always a mix of new and familiar faces, some of which have appeared on TV shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You? and Michael McIntryre’s Comedy Roadshow.

The East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band is one of the top brass bands in the world and is probably one of the most successful band ever during its twenty-eight year history. In soccer terms the Band started as a Sunday League team in 1989 and achieved promotion in almost consecutive years through the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st divisions and then to the Premier league! Thursday’s Child is a musical drama which follows the adventures of a group of children undertaking a journey in search of home and happiness through a land at war with itself. Their journey leads them to encounter situations which illustrate the worse aspects of life for a child in a vibrant, dramatic, and sometimes humorous way. Our Box Office is located at: West Lindsey District Council, The

Guildhall, Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough, DN21 2NA. Box Office

A Box Office operates at Trinity Arts Centre approximately one

hour prior to any scheduled performance, and between the hours

of 09:30 and 13:00 on Saturdays.

Our Box Office can process cash and card transactions with all
