Britt Andersen

This is my 19th year in paradise. Six years in PoCo and the last 13 years in Belcarra.

What’s your favourite thing to do for fun in the Tri-Cities? There so much to choose from that I enjoy - mountain biking, trail running, swimming Sasamat Lake, and kayaking the Indian Arm. But my favorite thing would be having a craft beer or two with good friends at the PoMo brewery district.

If you had a guest from out of town, where would you take them here and what would you do? Definitely something simple but fun, like walking the Rocky Point Trail followed by fish and chips at Pajos, and if we have room left an ice cream at Rocky Point.

What’s something special about this area that’s perhaps a hidden gem? A kayak from Belcarra Beach to Jug Island with a casual drift past Cozy Cove to spy on the countless seals that are baking in the sun. Swimming at the beach at Jug and a gourmet snack before paddling home.
