Title & Jurisdiction: The Revington TR / TR Register Sprint & Hillclimb Championship is organised and administered by the TR Register in accordance with the General Regulations of the Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA) and these Championship Regulations. 1.3. Competitor Eligibility: 1.3.1. Entrants must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of the TR Register and in possession of a valid 2011 MSA Entrants Licence. 1.3.2. Drivers and Entrant/Drivers must be fully paid up valid membership card holding members of the TR Register, be Registered for the Championship and be in possession of a valid MSA Competition National B Non-Race Licence, as a minimum. 1.3.3. All necessary documentation must be presented for checking at all rounds when signing-on. 1.4. Registration: 1.4.1. Registration is affected by completing the registration, Event Target Times and technical specification forms and returning them to the Championship Co-ordinator with the appropriate registration fee.

1.4.2. The registration fee is £25. (cheques payable to R. C. McEwen). 1.4.3. There is no closing date for registration. However if you do not have target times for the events you may wish to enter, you should register by the 15 February to enable target times to be established by the Championship Organisers.

1.6. Scoring: 1.6.1. Provisional points at a Championship Round shall be scored on the basis of the following formula: (time achieved – target time) [ 1.00 ] x 10.00 target time The competitor with the highest provisional points shall then be awarded 10.00 Championship points. Other competitors’ Championship points will be derived from the above as follows: Individual Competitor’s own provisional points Best provisional points

Target times shall be the best time recorded by a Competitor at the course, and declared on the Event Target Time form. Where Competitors enter events that they have not previously recorded times for the Championship Organisers shall extrapolate Target Times based on other competitors’ times. Competitors who have not previously competed for at least two years in Sprints and Hillclimbs will have Target Times set by the Championship Organisers which will be reviewed on completion of three events. For events held at a new course all participating competitors in the first year will receive 10.00 points. The Championship Organisers shall have the right to vary Target Times where they are deemed not to be compatible with the vehicle entered or fellow competitors’ Target Times. 1.6.2. The best five scores shall constitute the competitor’s Championship result and the competitor with the best overall score for five events shall be the Championship winner for the year. In the event of a tie, the sixth best result achieved will be used to resolve the tie and so on. 1.6.3. Championship Points Appeal – Section C6.5.1, current MSA Yearbook, applies.

1.7. Awards: 1.7.1. There are no awards for individual Championship events. Trophies shall be awarded to competitors who have competed at least five events as follows: First, Second and Third placed competitors overall at the end of the season, excluding those competitors who have not previously competed for two years. The best overall placed competitor at the end of the season excluding those competitors that have competed for more than two years. The best overall placed Lady at the end of the season.

The best overall placed competitor under 30 years of age on the 1st January 2011 at the end of the season No competitor may win more than one award. Other discretionary awards may be presented from time to time.

1.7.2. There will be no cash awards. Trophies for the Championship shall be awarded for, and at the end of, the current season. The Championship Trophy shall be held for one year and shall be returned to the Championship Coordinator on or before the Drivers’ Meeting and Prizegiving. The recipient is required to have the trophy suitably engraved. All other awards shall be perpetual. 1.7.3. There will be no bonuses awarded in cash or in kind.

2. SPORTING REGULATIONS - JUDICIAL PROCEDURES 2.1. Rounds:

In accordance with Section C of the 2011 MSA Yearbook.

2.2. Championship:

In accordance with Section C of the 2011 MSA Yearbook.

3. TECHNICAL REGULATIONS 3.1. Eligible Vehicles: Any four wheeled production vehicle manufactured by Triumph and their derivatives shall be eligible to compete. Competitors must display the sponsor’s Championship stickers on each side of the car for the duration of each event. 3.2. Classes: The Championship has no Class structure. All vehicles must comply with the requirements of the MSA Yearbook. The technical specification of the vehicle shall be stated on the Technical Specification form submitted with the registration documents and should be relevant to the target times previously achieved. Any modifications to the vehicle that may change the performance of the car shall be notified to the Coordinator so that adjustments can be made to the target times if considered necessary.
