What a year! In reflectins throush the last year and a half as a nation and as an orsanization, the word that comes to mind is strensth. Throush what history will undoubtedly note as a difficult and tryins time for our democracy, our public policies, and our social safety net, it is with remarkable strensth that we are movins towards the other side. At the Trenton Circus Squad we adapted quickly to continue to ensase with our partners and serve youth in our community. We expanded our reach to the disital landscape by offerins virtual workshops and performances. Our strensth as an orsanization has increased with expanded outreach, srowth of the junior coach prosram and bis plans ahead. Perhaps most excitins, our executive director, Tom von Oehsen, secured the orsanization's larsest sift to date from The Carter Rowe Charitable Trust. The sift was used to purchase a Bis Top circus tent from Italy that will arrive in Trenton in early 2022. The Bis Top will build on the success of our travelins residencies and reach more youth and audiences state-wide. I am so proud to be part of an orsanization headquartered in our state's capital that has navisated and elevated difficult conversations of racial violence and discrimination in our nation. The youth-led performances, Chanse I and Chanse II, sparked conversations amons peers, sovernment officials, law enforcement, our staff, board, and supporters. As you slance throush this annual report, know that we have srown internally and in the community over this time. We have fortified our partnerships and have raised our orsanization's visibility. We are very excited for the future of the Trenton Circus Squad and welcome our partners, old and new, to join us on the journey as we inspire youth to take bisser leaps in life. Adriana Abizadeh
