This is Chance, and this is his story. Chance was the worst case of demodectic mange we had ever seen. He had been thrown away at the Panama City Beach Shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized. Another volunteer told us about Chance because she saw something special in his beautiful, sad eyes and knew he deserved a chance at life. We knew we could help and he deserved it from us. When he arrived he had no hair, his skin had tiny blisters, he was in pain and very ill. We rushed him straight to the vet and began treatments. He was bathed and medicated every day for over six weeks – all the time thanking us with those beautiful, and now not so sad, eyes. We are very happy to say he looks great, feels great, and is enjoying being a puppy.

All He Needed Was A Chance. And That’s All They Ever Ask For Please consider helping Chance and all of our rescues by volunteering, fostering, or donating.
