Designed in partnership with the Limestone District School Board, this hands-on approach will achieve your curriculum objectives. Your classroom will be moved to a British Fort interpreted during 1867. Core curriculum will include: language studies, technology and design, social studies, physical education, history, geography and geology. Boiler Room Climbing Gym

This Indoor wall climbing gym includes 41 routes, a bouldering cave, and a 100’ tall chimney (Canada’s highest indoor climb!!), Offering a safe and unique option for class outings. Beginners welcome. Miller Museum of Geology and Mineralogy

Located in the Department of Geological Sciences and Geological Engineering at Queen’s University in Kingston. It is a small but active earth-science teaching museum for local schools. The museum features many fossil and mineral displays, an extensive Geology of the Kingston Area exhibit, and an educational tour program of “hands on” geology activities for school groups. During a visit, your class may pass around objects such as meteorites, dinosaur bones and other fossils, and examples of different rocks and minerals.
