Victoria Falls, known locally as the ‘Smoke That Thunders, is located on the majestic Zambezi River within the boundaries of Zimbabwe and Zambia. By far the greatest falls in Africa, there is no question as to why Victoria Falls is one of the Natural Wonders of the World. This claim is based on a width of 1,708 metres and height of 108 metres, forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world (in the wet season).
