LEWA WILDLIFE CONSERVANCY, This morning we take an exciting excursion to walk with NORTH KENYA. young lions in their own bush environment. This is a safe and amazing experience. You have many photo opportunities with the young lions, and will learn about their future existence in the wild. The walk is followed by a bush breakfast, before we return to our hotel. This afternoon, we take our flight back into Johannesburg. Unfortunately there is no through connection to Nairobi, so we overnight in Johannesburg. This morning we fly out of Wilson Airport (Nairobi) to the far north of Kenya – here we start our safari experience, staying at the beautiful Lewa Safari Camp. The Lewa conservancy covers 265 square kilometres a vast wilderness. It has dramatic views to the south of snow capped Mt Kenya, and to the north down to the arid lands towards Ethiopia. There are many diverse habitats, from pristine forest, fertile grasslands, extensive springs and acacia woodland. We arrive in time for a beautiful lunch, and later this afternoon head out in our safari vehicles in search of the wildlife.
