TRAVEL TRADE WEEKLY: How pleased were you with business in 2016? JAYA BHUSHAN PATNAIK: The three factors that have affected the travel tourism and residential occupancies for the year 2016 were regional [events], the crude oil price slump and over supply. Our group could overcome and sustain the crisis and [was] able to manage with slight difference in occupancy and average daily rate (ADR), down 10 percent and QAR15 (USD4.12), respectively, though the intensity of the damage is much higher in terms of revenue.
