Sabina von Kessel is an international Transcultural Design and Communication Consultant with 30 plus years of experience. She has been conceptualising, designing and leading communication campaigns worldwide. Her interest lies in semiotics and how images speak to and with people and illiterate communities. The 'social security' campaign for the GIZ in India was designed in many different forms, using posters, photography, TV-spots and radio. It was constantly tested and redesigned in a participatory manner with participants.
Sabina also facilitated young designers master studies at the Asia Campus of L'Ecole de Design Nantes Atlantique in Bangalore, India and taught media design in a TVET institution.
In Hamburg and Berlin, she worked as a lecturer for young design students, photographer and designer for NGOs and in civil society projects.
