the perfect blend of iconic sights, personal insights and free time. The hotels were phenomenal, the coach comfortable, and the Insider Experiences fantastic. I think the visit to Pearl Harbor was the most amazing. You read online about how crowded and busy it is and that you have to wait in line. But, with Trafalgar, we got straight in with no waiting

Our Travel Director was wonderful; he made it so easy. His dedication to our comfort and making sure we were ok was a huge help. We didn’t have to worry about a thing – organizing flights between the islands, renting a car, even picking up our luggage – everything was done for us. You can’t do it on your own the way you can with Trafalgar – it’s much better value, especially in Hawaii. The cost versus what we got was perfect.

Saimin soup, mouth-watering seafood, sugary Malasadas and rich Kona coffee. Hawaii’s abundance of locally grown produce and its American, Asian, Polynesian and Portuguese influences have given rise to a uniquely eclectic (and delicious) culinary scene. The dishes may be different, but there’s one philosophy which unites Hawaii – food is best enjoyed with friends, old and new. It’s this philosophy which sheds new light on dishes you may think you already know – and inspires our dining experiences, from relaxed Welcome Receptions to Farewell Dinners, the perfect forums for getting to know each other or reliving memories.

It’s not just about getting from A to B, but the experiences you have along the way that turn a trip into a journey.

Your journey made easy

On the journey, you get to know your fellow travelers; chatting, sharing stories and creating friendships sealed by a shared love of travel. Your Travel Director shares anecdotes and insights into places you pass and visit. And our Coach Drivers know the roads less traveled, so we ask them to take scenic routes where possible, revealing towns and scenes you might not otherwise see. And, with years of experience, they take the worry out of the road, looking after parking costs, tolls and map reading for you (they even make sure your luggage is waiting in your room at each hotel).

Hawaii’s landscape changes constantly as Kilauea spews lava that flows down to the sea—it’s been erupting almost continuously since 1983. Enjoy spectacular views of the caldera and crater and learn about the geology of the islands at the Jaggar Museum. Then take a short walk through a fern forest to get inside an ancient cavelike lava tube. After an included lunch, reach the golden Kona coast and your stunning oceanfront resort.
