Adult Health & Wellness Tai-Chi and Qigong Beginning

Gentle/Pregnancy Yoga New!

Gentle/Pregnancy Yoga is an all-levels class designed to improve mobility, stamina, balance and strength. This class is based on the Hatha Yoga style. All of the stretches and poses have their foundation in correct alignment and structure to bring you the most benefit. This class is beneficial for people with physical challenges, seniors, expectant and new mothers and/or to anyone who has not exercised in a while. This class will also focus on stretching and toning muscles.

Tai Chi and Qigong help reduce stress, increase relaxation and improve overall wellness. Each class begins with Qigong to develop breath awareness and mental focus. The development deepens as participants coordinate breath and focus to lead them through a series of 20 fluid Tai Chi postures. This class involves continuous movement through challenging but gentle postures. Must successfully complete Levels I, II, and III and have teacher’s approval to be eligible for Intermediate Levels.
