GALLERY TANBRIDGE HOUSE SCHOOL 20 November – 7 January

This year’s annual exhibition from Tanbridge House School covers a broad range of subjects and styles in a variety of media. The work has been produced by 11 students over the duration of their Art and Design GCSE, resulting in a creative and exciting showcase. Staff at the school are extremely proud of the student’s dedication, hard work and achievements.

TRIGUITY: GRAHAM MORGAN-WATSON 8 January – 11 February I enjoy the “playfulness” of creating vibrant art and working with bold colours and textures that can be achieved with acrylics, oils and gel media. Many of my ideas and impressions are inspired from my experiences as a jazz organist, walks around Wakehurst Gardens, or personal insights from esoteric philosophy. As well as the jazz and nature themes, a series of new mixed media works are currently in the pipeline, and will be on show in this exhibition. See my website for new pieces www.Triguity.com or follow us on Facebook www.facebook.com/Triguity

A BRUSH WITH ART 12 February – 18 March We are a group of amateur artists, formed in 2016 and called ‘A Brush with Art’, who enjoy painting together using mixed media. Since we have painted so much together we decided to exhibit and are grateful to The Capitol to give us the opportunity to do this.

MORAG WARRACK 19 March – 22 April Can you identify the Sussex locations in these prints and paintings? Many of them are in and around the Horsham area, while others may be off the beaten track. Visitors are invited to name the places (or give a post code or even a grid reference - think arty geo-caching!) One lucky visitor will then be able either to choose a painting at the end of the exhibition or to commission a painting of their own. Morag works in a wide variety of styles and exhibits regularly at Roffey Park Institute, Colgate, and with several galleries in Sussex and beyond including the Green Tree Gallery, The Ashdown Gallery and the Aldeburgh Gallery.
