SUPREME RHC FLOATS A new generation of indestructible floats makes its way into a mature sector, where innovations are difficult to conceive and implement. It is not necessary to bend one of these floats, as we have done in the picture here aside, to understand its advantages: just bring one to fishing to verify that there is no mistreatment that could undermine its integrity. Born for pole fishing, they are anyway perfect for the telescopic whip and also for the bolognese; wherever high tension fighting is expected, the Supreme RHC will have fun and will make you funny as well! Beyond the strength, the sensitivity of these floats is impressive, because their body volume is lower when compared to a traditional balsa wood float. Having to move a smaller mass of water, the float signals the bites much more easily. Moreover, the constancy of the shotting capacity is staggering: from the first one to the millionth piece which comes out of production cycle, all carry the same amount of lead. Supreme RHC floats are made thanks to an innovative aerospace derivation material, used for the construction of their bodies. A rigid foam of PMI (polymethacrylimide) with exceptional structural and mechanical properties, able to offer maximum mass precision and stability in all conditions. The very low density equal to 52 Kg/ m³ is about 40% lower than that of the common balsa wood used to produce the floats and a good 50% compared to other synthetic polymers, more commonly defined as polyurethane (PU). Although extremely light, it offers exceptional mechanical performance, with a compression strength of 130 psi. The extremely consistent structure, featuring sealed cells, therefore waterproof, also offers a very low thermal expansion coefficient, useful for obtaining very precise bodies during production processing. This allowed us to obtain more sensitive, precise and resistant floats at the same time!
Thanks to the use of the new RHC material, featuring sealed cells thus completely waterproof, it was possible to drill the bodies without adding the usual rubber pipe. The internal hole is smaller in diameter compared to the standard and the lack of the internal sleeve allows to keep the body of smaller dimensions with the same capacity, therefore more sensitive. At the same time, the total impermeability of the material allows to maintain a constant shotting capacity even after several hours of fishing. 294 |
The metallic eyes used on Carp models are built to “8” shape and positioned perfectly in line with the hole that crosses the body of the float. This solution allows to preserve the monofilament both during the fight with the fish and during the movements of the float itself along the rig line.
No compromises in the construction: in addition to the best materials have been adopted solutions that can guarantee maximum resistance. In fact, the fiberglass stems are inserted into the antennas, to avoid that even during extreme pulls and stresses the body can be damaged.
The utmost attention to detail has also been applied in the selection of components and in the subsequent assembly phases. Epoxy glues, paints, as well as antennas and stems have been carefully chosen to maximize performance and quality. For each model specific solutions have been studied, as you can see from the image below which shows a float of only 0,30 g with cross drilling along the body axis.
