NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2012 An Information Bulletin for the Local Racing Industry.

After consultation with the General Manager Operations of Racing Queensland Mr Warren Williams, the Committee and management of the Townsville Turf Club have recently reviewed and revised the Cluden Park Track-work Rules, Regulations and Conditions of use. This included a full review of the Club’s current track fees which have long been maintained by the Club at levels far below that of the industry average. The Club has taken the decision to increase standard track fees and the conditions associated with these, to provide a fairer balance on the costs associated and incurred maintaining and preparing training tracks and facilities to the best possible standards. The Club has also included a comparison summary on the fees associated with other comparable TAB Clubs throughout Queensland, owners and trainers will find the new levels still well below most other Clubs. Attached is a full copy of the updated Cluden Park Track-work Rules and Regulations and associated fees. All trainers are required to read and complete the declaration and return it to the Townsville Turf Club office in the attached reply paid envelope prior to the 1 st of January 2013, on which the new and updated regulations and fees come into effect. The Club thanks all trainers for their ongoing support of the Club and can be rest assured that the Club is committed to providing and continuing to upgrade the training facilities and options that we have available at the Townsville Turf Club well into the future.
