Attend the most anticipated Halloween event of the tri-state area, where more than 7,000 intricately carved pumpkins will be on display. The electrifying landscape will take your breath away. In years past, a spinning carousel, snaking dragon and Statue of Liberty have graced the trail - all made entirely of pumpkins. Sunglasses are optional!

Explore Green-Wood Cemetery after dark for the night of a lifetime. A multitude of musical performances and storytelling activities will unfold throughout the historic cemetery, all against the backdrop of thousands of starlit trees. Earlier in the evening, a VIP experience will entail an even more dedicated tour and will include refreshments as well.

Prepare to stumble upon creepy creatures along the haunted trail whose intention is to make you stay within their confines forever. Elaborate costumes and makeup by award-winning feature-film artists plus incredible special effects round out a truly scary and disorienting experience!

Costumes are mandatory to march in this celebrated Halloween event, now in its 44th year! Don your most creative get-up and join puppets, bands, dancers and artists in this wildly exciting parade. If you’re sans costume, you may enjoy the show from the route’s sidelines, or watch live on NY1 from 8:00 to 9:30pm.

BROOKLYN HORROR FILM FESTIVAL October 12th through 15th Various Locations The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival is a competitive international film festival showcasing some of the world’s spookiest films. The directors of the festival are committed to pushing the boundaries of horror film and challenging the genre’s preconceptions. Aside from the screenings, the event includes interviews with filmmakers, receptions, parties and more.
