One of the world’s favorite operas returns to the Lincoln Center stage. Featuring a cast of opera favorites, Puccini’s La Bohème follows the near-destitute artist Marcello as he falls in love with his beautiful neighbor Mimì in 1830’s Paris. This Bohemian tale is familiar to many as the storyline that inspired the hit Broadway musical Rent in the 1990’s.

There is no better place to be with your family during the holiday season than at Lincoln Center. Join the New York City Ballet for this timeless classic, featuring original choreography by George Balanchine and music by composer Peter Ilyitch Tschaikovsky. All 90 dancers, 62 musicians, 32 stagehands and two casts of 50 young students from the School of American Ballet join forces to make each performance as magical as the holiday season.
