TOWN OF VULCAN BYLAW NO. 1351-07 A Bylaw of the Town of Vulcan, in the Province of Alberta, to amend Procedure Bylaw No. 1196. as amended by Bylaw No. 1278 WHEREAS there has been consideration by the Council of the Town of Vulcan to amend Section 6.14 of Procedure Bylaw No. 1196 to better facilitate the orderly conduct of it’s business: THEREFORE under the authority and subject to the provisions of Section 145(a) and (b) inclusive of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26.1 1994 and amendments thereto, deal with meeting of Council, this bylaw, by virtue of the Municipal Government Act, provides for the regulation of the proceedings of Council and the Committees thereof, the Council duly assembled does hereby enact the following: 1.
That section 6.14 of Procedure Bylaw No. 1196 be amended to read as follows: 6.14
All votes on all questions are recorded and all present at that time shall be recorded, and the members’ votes shall be recorded as voting for, against, and/or abstained for pecuniary interest only or “unanimous” if all members present are in favor of the motion.”
This Bylaw is hereby amended;
This Bylaw comes into affect upon third and final reading hereof.
READ a first time this 27th day of August, A.D., 2007. READ a second time this 27th day of August, A.D., 2007. READ a third time and finally passed this 27th day of August, A.D., 2007.
