Black Friday Local businesses in the Town of Vulcan are planning a one day shopping event called “Black Friday” scheduled for November 23rd, 2012 to promote shopping locally. Motion No.: 12.376 Moved by Councillor Dwayne Hill THAT this Council donates $5,000.00 to assist in covering advertising expenses with local businesses to promote Black Friday being held on November 23rd, 2012; THAT the funds be allocated from the Contingency Reserve.
