CALL TO ORDER

This is an opportunity for the public to address the Town Council on any subject. In accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Town Council may not discuss issues raised or make any decision at this time. Issues raised may be referred to Town staff for research and possible future action.
Consider approval of the minutes of the Town Council meeting held on June 13, 2011.
Consider approval of the minutes of the Town Council meeting held on June 29, 2011.
Sergeant Lance Koppa will (i) present a video on his recent trip to Greece, representing Special Olympics of Texas and the Law Enforcement Torch Run, and (ii) introduce Kevin Collins, a medal-winning athlete and brother of Tony Collins, Communications Specialist, in the Town’s Department of Public Safety.
Recognize receipt of the Texas Comptroller’s Gold Leadership Circle Award for the Town’s achievement of meeting local government online transparency standards for the presentation of the Town’s financial information on its website.
Recognize receipt of the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association, presented to Bill Pollock, Director of Fiscal and Human Resources.

Consider approval of a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a cooperative agreement supporting Dallas Countyâ€™s renewal of the Community Development Block Grant and Home Program.
Consider approval of a resolution adopting a Master Fee Schedule effective September 1, 2011.
PROPOSAL Review and consider approval of a letter of understanding from Weaver and Tidwell, L.L.P. for performing the audit of the Townâ€™s financial statements for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2011.
VIII. BUDGET Review and discuss the preliminary Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Annual Operating Budget.
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY/TOWN HALL RENOVATION Review and discuss construction activity, as may be needed, for the Department of Public Safety/Town Hall Remodel Project.
Financial Report for the period ending June 30, 2011.
Review and discuss an update by Mayor Pro Tem Madden concerning Dallas Love Field.
Review and discuss Senate Bill 100, the bill to comply with the federal Military and Overseas Voters Empowerment Act, and its impact to municipal elections and uniform election dates in the State of Texas.
