Spring/Summer 2013 Recreation Flyer from the Dover Recreation Department

Recreation News

TOWN OF DOVER, NEW YORK * TOWNOFDOVERNY.US

Dear Town of Dover Residents: Your new recreation office is now located at the Boyce Park Community Room. As we grew out of our office at the Astor School, the Town of Dover found space for us at Boyce Park where we belong. I want to thank the Dover Union Free School District and the Astor Head Start School for accommodating us through out the many years. During those years, our Recreation Department had a home and we are very grateful for that.

Now as we start another chapter in our book, our new offices are beautiful, big, with plenty of room and most comfortable. Constructing our office at Boyce Park was a very wise choice that the Recreation Commission proposed and later was approved by the Dover Town Board. We want to thank them for this great opportunity to serve our community better. Lots of work went into our new offices. All work was done on a volunteer basis. My recreation staff and I would like to thank everyone who was involved in making our new office a reality. We appreciate it very much. Over the years Dover Recreation has grown in leaps and bounds with a lot more programs for our community to choose from. From Tiny Tots to our wonderful Senior Programs, we have something for everyone! I hope you find our spring flyer full of wonderful programs and events for everyone to participate in. Lastly, I want to thank you all for your support and commitment to our recreation programs and activities. Teri Ptasnick and The Recreation Staff

The Recreation Office is now located in the Community Room at Boyce Park
