Check out all that the 2018 Winterfest Celebration has to offer in this year’s Brochure! 1
Winterfest is the Town of Conception Bay South’s annual celebration of winter! There are so many reasons to embrace this season, and Winterfest is just one more way to get involved and show your community spirit! This year’s festival brings us back to our roots with a focus on families. Sliding and snowshoeing - well, they go together like hot chocolate and a boil-up - and you can enjoy both during Winterfest 2018. Opening weekend is packed with events for all ages, including a pancake breakfast, a volleyball tournament, and seniors’ social activities. In the days to follow, we will release our creative energy with a paint night event, burn some energy with free swims, and re up our competitive spirit with annual hockey tournaments to round out the week. In addition, an eagerly anticipated comedy night featuring Mike Lynch is sure to bring a smile to your face! For the full schedule of events, please visit the Town’s website, and stay up to date via our social media accounts. As a municipality, we strive to make Winterfest as affordable, inclusive, and accessible as possible. Our many free events help bring the community together and create memories to last a lifetime! We also thankfully acknowledge that none of these activities would be possible without the commitment of countless hours from community volunteers and support from our sponsors! Their efforts and resources are what make Winterfest a success! We look forward to seeing you at Winterfest 2018!
