Within the Penticton area there are numerous walking, hiking and mountain biking trails. The most common are along the beach at Okanagan and Skaha Lakes. Here are some other routes to take.
- Trans Canada Trail / Kettle Valley Railway on either side of Okanagan Lake towards Summerland or Naramata & Chute Lake or along the west side of Skaha Lake towards Okanagan Falls.
- Penticton Creek - West side of Okanagan River Channel
- Giant’s Head in Summerland
For something a little more adventurous and for the experienced climber try rock climbing at the Skaha Bluffs Park - Access is up Smythe Drive off Eastside Road.
