“Online Registration – You’re Always First in Line”

You don’t need anything to browse through the list of courses, but to be able to register for programs using ONLINE REGISTRATION you need a Family PIN, a Client Barcode and a valid Visa or Mastercard. To acquire a Family PIN and Client Barcode, request a new account online at netreg.okotoks.ca. Customers wanting to receive this information must supply an email address as requested on the online form. An email reply to the request can take up to 72 hours, or call 403-938-8954 to receive your Family PIN and Client Barcode.

Waiting Lists

If a program is full, please express your interest by putting your name on the waiting list. You will be contacted if a space becomes available or an additional class is scheduled.

Cancellations & Refunds

All classes/courses are subject to cancellation if there are insufficient registrations. We will notify you once a cancellation decision has been made. If the Town of Okotoks cancels a program, you are entitled to a full refund or you may transfer to another program; space permitting. If you withdraw from a class/course at least one week before start date, a $10 cancellation fee per registration will be applied to your refund or credit. Credits can be applied towards another Town sponsored activity. Credits expire one year from the date the credit was issued. No refund or credit will be issued if withdrawal occurs within one week or after program starts except for medical reasons (physician’s note required).Withdrawal from programs for medical reasons will be effective from the date of the doctor’s medical note and must be received by Community Services prior to the program end date. Please allow 2-3 weeks to process.

Transfers • • •

All transfers are subject to space availability. A $10 fee for each transfer is charged, plus any applicable course fees. If a transfer results in a credit, then the credit may be refunded. No refund will be issued if a transfer is requested within one week or after course starts except for medical reasons. If the course has started, transfers are subject to approval.

• Supports eligible families with one parent who stays at home to provide care or who works or attends school less than 20 hours per week. Subsidy is provided for preschool children aged 0-6 and not yet attending grade 1. • Applicant and co-applicant’s combined monthly income (line 150 from the most recent Notice of Assessment) is considered. • Families may qualify for up to $1200 yearly, per child to participate in approved early childhood programs (day camps do not qualify). • Parents generally pay in advance for program and are reimbursed at program completion. • Subsidy application form is online at www.child.alberta.ca/ home/1166.cfm • Contact 1-866-714-5437 for further information.

KidSport Okotoks and MD of Foothills • May support children ages 6-18; preschoolers may qualify if ineligible for Stay at Home Parents Support. • Family’s net yearly income is considered. • Families may qualify for up to $250 yearly per qualifying child to participate in organized community sports programs. Programs offered by the Town of Okotoks are not covered. • Fee is paid to program. • Application form and details are online at www.kidsport.ab.ca.

Okotoks Healthy Family Resource Centre - Fee Assistance

• May support children 6-18, adults and seniors; preschoolers are considered if ineligible for Stay At Home Parents Support. • Family’s net yearly income is considered. • Residents may qualify for up to 80% of cost of program, to a maximum of $150 yearly, to participate in programs offered by the Town of Okotoks (listed in the community guide). • Details are available at www.ohfrc.org. • Contact the Family Resource Centre at 403-995-2626 for intake.
