Newport, RI Members-Only Fall Getaway
Friday, October 11-Sunday, October 13 We are offering a Members/Adults Only Fall Getaway Trip to Newport, Rhode Island for Columbus Day Weekend. Please RSVP ASAP due to VERY LIMITED space. Once we have the spaces filled, we will promptly start a waiting list. Accommodations: Members have the choice between two hotel options (based on double occupancy): • Hotel/Trip A - The Vanderbilt, An Auberge Hotel - $2,500 per couple plus transportation (includes 2 nights standard room, one cocktail reception, one dinner and one brunch - all other beverages by subscription). • Hotel/Trip B - America’s Cup Inn $1,350 per couple plus transportation (includes 2 nights standard room, one cocktail reception, one dinner and one brunch - all other beverages by subscription).
EVENTS Autumn Driving Cruise
Saturday, September 21 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Time to wax your Ferrari, Yugo or Hog! Join fellow members on a driving tour. Participants will meet at the Club parking lot at 10 a.m. There, we will review directions and logistics. Maps will be provided. The caravan will leave on the “Blue Water” driving cruise along Lake St. Clair to a few miles past Port Huron. We’ll stop at a restaurant on/near Lake Huron around Noon, and then return to the Club by 2:30 p.m. Except for lunch, there will be no charge for this activity.
