The Trinity Church, built around 1850, exudes special architectural beauty. For the 2010 country exhibition, the Evangelics parish designed the two kilometre long “Reformation – on the way” route.

The ten stations explain the history of the Evangelics in Wallern, and the route is suitable for wheelchairs.

The Magdalenaberg Church was built in the Gothic style. In the 600 years of its existence it has been rescued from deterioration on many occasions and is now considered to be a landmark of Bad Schallerbach.

A three kilometre circular path leads from the Europa Square to the church.

The former spa gardens were transformed into a unique oasis of relaxation for the “Botanica 2009” horticultural show and are both stimulating and sensual. The Vitalwelt cycling path network covers more than 300 kilometres of well signposted cycle paths. Its seven varying connections between the Trattnach cycle path in the North and the Innbach cycle path in the South enable you to plan individual routes.

7 paths for all difficulty levels start from the Europa Square and invite you to go for a run or enjoy some Nordic Walking. Some of the paths, which lead to the most beautiful squares in the area, are also suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

The Gallspach nature adventure baths is a paradise for the whole family and offers a special form of bathing pleasure – namely without the addition of any chemicals.

The heated outdoor pool offers, amongst other things, a large sunbathing area and a 50 metre long water slide. These and other offerings contribute to the particularly family friendly atmosphere.

“On the tracks, ready, go!” – that’s the motto of the Scheiben coal station. Discover the Hausruck forest in a rail trolley or diesel engine on the 3.5 kilometre long circuit.

You’ll be allowed to pedal on the tracks of the former coal train and follow the trail of the “Brown Gold” that was mined here until 1964.

Upper Austria’s first Nordic.Fitness.Park awaits you in the Hausruck forest. You can enjoy the new endurance sport on four licenced Nordic Walking routes between 2.7 and 11.7 kilometres in length, and with different demands and elevation profiles.

The trail leads you over 2.5 kilometres from Wallern along the Trattnach into the nearby Bad Schallerbach. 22 display boards give an insight into the diversity of the beautiful area around the Trattnach and provide information about ecological connections between the regional flora and fauna.
