Strathcona County - Sherwood Park Millennium Place is a multi-purpose recreation facility located off Broadmoor Boulevard and offers activities for people of all ages. Take in the annual Great Canadian Trade Fair here on April 12-14. July is an exciting time for events in Strathcona County! Starting with the festivities of Sherwood Park’s Canada Day Festival and Parade on July 1. You can also take in Savour Strathcona County on Sunday, July 7 – the annual event is a celebration of local gourmet cuisine, art, and culture. Meet local artists/artisans who will have their creations on display and for sale. Enjoy entertainment and activities throughout the evening while sampling different foods. New this summer is Ravenwood Experience - an outdoor music festival which will showcase a broad spectrum of Indie-folk music that is family-focused, as well as featured workshops, artisans, kids’ zone and food trucks. The venue and show will be held at Broadmoor Lake Park in the centre of Sherwood Park. The festival will run Friday, July 19th and Saturday, July 20th.
