With over 40 historical churches, Lamont County is known as the “Church Capital of North America”. Take a day or a weekend to experience the County’s beautiful countryside and fascinating history, as you discover each historical gem during our self-driving tour. The church brochure is available on the Lamont County website at www.lamontcounty.ca/church-tour. The Lamont & District Agricultural Society will host the Bullarama Supreme on May 4, and the Summer Sizzler Rodeo July 12-14. Their new rodeo grounds are located at the Junction of Highway 15 and Highway 831, then go two miles south to Twp Rd 552. Watch for signs. They look forward to seeing many friendly faces this year to take in their exciting events.

ATTRACTIONS & EVENTS As the Cradle of Ukrainian Settlement in Canada, Lamont County is proud of its heritage. Ukrainians and non-Ukrainians alike come from across the globe to fully immerse themselves in Ukrainian culture, food, music, and performances during the annual Babas & Borshch Ukrainian Festival. This is a must-see event for everything Ukrainian, celebrated in the heart of the largest settlement of Ukrainians outside of the Ukraine, held in Lamont on August 24-25. Don’t miss it!
