Street. A new building opened in 2016 with Irving and Doreen Bell's collection of over 400 antique lamps and a wide variety of other artifacts from the 1800s and early 1900s. (See the CREAM tour on page 21).

Take in Irma Daze on August 4-6 which features a parade, Ranchers' Rodeo, Kids' Zone activities, and bench show exhibits. On the second Saturday in December, Santa Day will give visitors a chance to go on a hayride, take in a Christmas market and more. In winter enjoy the town's indoor ice arena and a four sheet curling rink.

The Irma Summerspiel will celebrate its 32nd annual spiel in 2018 with teams from all over Alberta competing in curling, stick curling, golf, slo-pitch, target shooting and other sporting events. EAT SHOP If you’re looking for a nostalgic piece to add to your home or a unique gift for that special someone be sure to visit Like it Never Was. (See Antique Tour on page 16). More unique gifts can be found at Long Branch Trading Company – there you can also enjoy lunch and the best coffee in town! Nearby, Irma Home & Garden Decor carries an impressive collection of home and garden décor - known as “the store with the open door”. Irma is home to not one, but two greenhouses! Off the Beaten Path Greenhouse is located north of Irma on Highway 881. Get your bedding plants, hanging baskets, and planters. Spade to Spoon is located on Highway 14, six miles east of Irma, and specializes in locally grown, fresh garden produce and beautiful flowers. (See the Greenhouse Tour on page 18.)
