Hwy 14 Relax and spend the afternoon birdwatching. Beaverhill Lake is one of the few federally recognized Bird Sanctuaries in Canada. Two hundred and fifty species have been sighted during migration, and about half that number nest and make their summer home in the area. It is an ideal location for the casual birder to try out the hobby.
