Why get involved

_____________________________________________________________________________________________ The 4th annual conference on Nephrology and Hypertension in January 2012 will provide an opportunity to connect with key industry partners and opinion leaders responsible for the research and medical care of children and adults with kidney disease. Conference Objectives The Caribbean Institute of Nephrology (CIN), organizers of the conference are committed to making this event a better success than previous years, not only in its objective of educating, but also in making key linkages between the researchers and practitioners in the field of kidney disease and hypertension, and various ways of reducing the cardiovascular risk factors related; creating the avenue for the sharing of ideas, key research findings, specific regional experiences and the visions that exist for advancement of the treatment of Kidney diseases and hypertension, across developed and developing nations. For this reason invitations will be extended to personnel across the Caribbean region, North and South America, Europe, India, Asia, the Pacific and Africa. The Location Jamaica provides an idyllic setting to host the conference as it offers not only first world conference facilities, and accommodation, but its natural beauty will provide an exceptional backdrop for a variety of recreational and social activities. Countryside excursions, cultural entertainment, exotic gastronomic delights, and the unique and friendly hospitality for Jamaica is internationally known, will all form a part of the overall experience. Partnerships The success of the previous conferences and their achievements has been fruitful because of our audience and our committed sponsors. The on-going educational objectives will depend on our abilities to form stronger partnerships with various organizations, new and old. The Exhibition Lounge will be easily accessible and highly visible to all delegates throughout the Conference. The exhibition will run concurrently to the conference and will provide an important facility for delegates to view the most up to date products and equipment. Strategically placed in the reception area of the conference hall, the exhibitor lounge will become the central hub for networking and the exchange of and information. It will also accommodate the internet cafe and coffee break stations ensuring that maximum exposure to your key audience is facilitated. The Exhibition Lounge Package will include: 

Coffee Break Sponsors

Delegates will get additional opportunities to network and share ideas during the coffee breaks throughout the day. Six breaks are available for sponsorship, which will afford companies the chance for additional exposure for your company. This package includes:       

Student Grants

US$750 + GCT per student

The Caribbean Institute of Nephrology would like to make sure that as many young upcoming medical, nursing and pharmaceutical students and clinicians will be able to attend the conference, and as such will solicit funding that will accommodate persons who will not otherwise be able to attend the conference. The benefits of this package will include: 

Company logo in the conference handbook announcing the names of the awardees of the grants and with a 50 word description of company

Company logo on special web page on conference website, outlining the guidelines for applications for the grants

Website Advertising The Conference website will be heavily visited over a period of four months before the conference with additional visits up to six months after the conference. We will be dedicating space for advertising of related products and equipment. The audiences of course will all be persons interested in the care of nephrology and hypertension, giving advertisers a much-targeted market. These visitors will log on for registration and general information and will of course be interested in any new products related to the field.
