ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ՀՌՈՄԷԱՅԵՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐԱԾ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 11.13-24 Բայց ձեզի՝ հեթանոսներուդ կ՚ըսեմ. «Քանի որ հեթանոսներուն առաքեալն եմ՝ կը փառաւորեմ իմ սպասարկութիւնս, յուսալով բարի նախանձը գրգռել իմ մարմինէս եղողներուն, եւ փրկել անոնցմէ ոմանք»: Որովհետեւ եթէ անոնց մեկուսացուիլը աշխարհի հաշտութիւն եղաւ, հապա ի՞նչ պիտի ըլլայ անոնց վերստին ընդունուիլը, եթէ ոչ՝ կեանք մեռելներէն: Ուրեմն՝ եթէ երախայրիքը սուրբ է, նոյնն է նաեւ զանգուածը. ու եթէ արմատը սուրբ է, ուրեմն ճիւղերն ալ: Եթէ այդ ճիւղերէն ոմանք կտրուեցան, ու դո՛ւն՝ որ վայրի ձիթենի էիր, պատուաստուեցար անոնց մէջտեղ եւ հաղորդակից եղար անոնց հետ ձիթենիին արմատին ու պարարտութեան, մի՛ պարծենար ճիւղերուն դէմ: Իսկ եթէ պարծենաս, գիտցի՛ր թէ դո՛ւն չես որ կը կրես արմատը, հապա արմա՛տը՝ քեզ: Ուրեմն պիտի ըսես. «Ճիւղերը կտրուեցան՝ որպէսզի ես պատուաստուիմ»: Լա՛ւ. անոնք կտրուեցան անհաւատութեան պատճառով, ու դուն հաստատ մնացած ես հաւատքով: Մեծամիտ մի՛ ըլլար, հապա վախցի՛ր. որովհետեւ եթէ Աստուած չխնայեց բնական ճիւղերուն, գուցէ չխնայէ նաեւ քեզի: Ուրեմն տե՛ս Աստուծոյ քաղցրութիւնն ու խստութիւնը. խստութիւն՝ ինկածներուն հանդէպ, իսկ բարութիւն՝ քեզի հանդէպ, եթէ յարատեւես անոր քաղցրութեան մէջ. այլապէս՝ դո՛ւն ալ պիտի կտրուիս: Իսկ անոնք ալ պիտի պատուաստուին՝ եթէ չմնան իրենց անհաւատութեան մէջ, որովհետեւ Աստուած կարող է դարձեալ պատուաստել զանոնք: Քանի որ եթէ դուն կտրուեցար այն ձիթենիէն՝ որ բնութեամբ վայրի էր, եւ հակառակ բնութեան՝ պատուաստուեցար լաւ ձիթենիի մը վրայ, ա՛լ ո՜րչափ աւելի ասոնք՝ որ բնական ճիւղերն են, պիտի պատուաստուին իրենց սեփական ձիթենիին վրայ:

ՄԱՏԹԷՈՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 14.13-21 Երբ Յիսուս լսեց, անկէ նաւով մեկնեցաւ ամայի տեղ մը՝ առանձին: Երբ բազմութիւնները լսեցին, ոտքով հետեւեցան անոր՝ իրենց քաղաքներէն: Երբ դուրս ելաւ, տեսնելով մեծ բազմութիւն մը՝ գթաց անոնց վրայ ու բուժեց անոնց հիւանդները: Իրիկունը՝ իր աշակերտները եկան եւ ըսին. «Հոս ամայի տեղ մըն է, ու ժամանակը արդէն անցած է. արձակէ՛ բազմութիւնը, որպէսզի երթան գիւղերը եւ կերակուր գնեն իրենց»: Յիսուս ըսաւ անոնց. «Պէտք չկայ որ անոնք երթան, դո՛ւք տուէք անոնց՝ որ ուտեն»: Անոնք ալ ըսին. «Հոս ուրիշ բան չունինք, բայց միայն հինգ նկանակ ու երկու ձուկ»: Ըսաւ անոնց. «Հո՛ս՝ ինծի՛ բերէք զանոնք»: Եւ հրամայեց որ բազմութիւնը նստեցնեն խոտին վրայ: Հինգ նկանակներն ու երկու ձուկերը առաւ, դէպի երկինք նայելով՝ օրհնեց, եւ կտրելով նկանակները՝ տուաւ աշակերտներուն, աշակերտներն ալ՝ բազմութեան: Բոլորը կերան ու կշտացան, եւ վերցնելով աւելցած բեկորները՝ տասներկու կողով լեցուցին: Անոնք որ կերան՝ հինգ հազարի չափ այր մարդիկ էին, կիներէն ու մանուկներէն զատ:

ROMANS 11.13-24 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken 4

off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness.

Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

MATTHEW 14.13-21 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

“We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

“Bring them here to me,” he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

ԱՅՍ ԿԻՐԱԿԻ - THIS SUNDAY ԲԱՐԵԿԵՆԴԱՆ ՎԱՐԴԱՎԱՌԻ ՊԱՀՔԻ Յուլիս 5 Յիսուս Քրիստոսի Պայծառակերպութեան՝ Վարդավառի տօնին նախորդող շաբաթապահքը Հայ եկեղեցւոյ մէջ կը կոչուի Վարդավառի պահք, որուն նախորդող Կիրակին Բարեկենդան է: Պահքի վերջին Շաբաթ օրը նաւակատիք է, այսինքն` այդ օրը կարելի է ձկնեղէն եւ կաթնեղէն գործածել:

EVE OF THE FAST OF TRANSFIGURATION July 5 This is the Sunday preceding the week of fasting period, before the Feast of Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ this year on July 12. The fast of Transfiguration lasts from Monday to Friday. Saturday is the last day of the fasting period, which means on that day people can eat fish and dairy products.

ՅԻՇԱՏԱԿ ՏԱՊԱՆԱԿԻ ՀՆՈՅ ԵՒ ՆՈՐՈՅ ՈՒԽՏԻ Յուլիս 11 Վարդավառի նախընթաց նաւակատիքի օրը (Յունիսի 27-էն Յուլիս 31-ը), այս տարի Յուլիս 11-ին, Յիշատակ Տապանակի Հնոյ եւ Նորոյ Ուխտի յիշատակն է: Ուխտի տապանակը հրեաներու ամենանուիրական սրբութիւնն էր, որ կը պարունակէր Տասնաբանեայ պատուիրաններու տախտակները, մանանայով լի սափորը եւ Ահարոնի զարդարուած գաւազանը: Մովսէսի շրջանէն մինչեւ Սողոմոն Իմաստունը տապանակը կը պահուէր Տաճարի Սրբութեան Սրբոց կոչուած ներքին բաժինը, ուր միայն տարին մեկ անգամ քահանայապետը կրնար մտնիլ: Ուխտի տապանակի յիշատակութիւնը վերջին անգամ կը հանդիպէ Սողոմոնի օրով. զոր ան զետեղած էր նորաշէն Տաճարին մէջ: Երուսաղէմի կործանունի ընթացքին Տապանակը անյայտացաւ: Հին տապանակը նախատիպն էր Նոր ուխտի,որ է՝ Քրիստոսի եկեղեցին, եւ տօնն էլ նուիրուած է Հին ու Նոր ուխտի հաստատումին՝ որպէս մէկը միւսին լրացնելու յիշատակին:

COMMEMORATION OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT AND FEAST OF THE NEW HOLY CHURCH July 11 On the navagadik day preceding Vartavar, the Armenian church celebrates the feast in commemoration of the old Ark, as well as a feast of the new Holy Church. The Ark (of the Covenant) was the sanctuary in 7

the Old Testament which symbolized the Divine Presence, and included the tablet of the Ten Commandments, a pot full of manna, the food God fed to the Israelites during their travels in the desert, and Aaron's blossoming rod. The Ark was kept in the inner section known as the Holy of Holies, which only the high priest could enter. Solomon placed it in his newly-built temple, from which it disappeared when Jerusalem was looted by Nebuchadnezzar. The temple built after the captivity did not have an ark. The feast of the Ark signifies the Old Covenant, precursor and example of the New, which is Christ's Church. Celebrating the old and the new testaments together underscores the perpetuity of the church. the church existed from the beginning, and that is why the Old Testament is accepted as part of the Holy Scriptures and recognized as a preamble to the New Testament. The hymn designated for this day proclaims: “ Who from the beginning established your church with wisdom O, Father of Wisdom, who revealed to Moses upon Sinai. ԳԻՏԷԻ՞Ր ԹԷ.................... Ուխտի Տապանակի մասին վերջին յիշատակութիւնը կը գտնենք Աստուածաշունչի վերջին գիրքին մէջ՝ Յովհաննէս Առաքեալի տեսիլքի հիման վրայ գրուած Յայտնութեան գիրքէն. «Եւ Աստուծոյ տաճարը բացուեցաւ երկինքի մէջ. անոր ուխտին տապանակը երեւցաւ իր տաճարին մէջ, ու եղան փայլակներ, ձայներ, որոտումներ, երկրաշարժ եւ խոշոր կարկուտ»: (Յայտն. 11:19) DID YOU KNOW?...............

The last mention about the Ark of Covenant can be found in the last book of the Holy Bible: The Book of Revelations, that is based on the vision of St. John the Apostle:“Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm”.(Revel. 11:19)

Զարգարեան։ Սուրբ Պատարագի աւարտին տեղի ունեցաւ յատուկ օրհնութիւն մը։ «2026-ի Տարուան Հայրեր» ընտրուած Շահէ Քէշիշեանն ու Հայկ Տէրեանը, իրենց ընտանիքներուն հետ միասին, թափօրով մօտեցան Սուրբ Խորան, ուր Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Աւ. Քհնյ. Զարգարեանի կողմէ ստացան յատուկ օրհնութիւն, իսկ Հայրերու Օրուան առիթով անոնց շնորհուեցան յիշատակի վկայականներ։ Ապա, Հայաստան մեկնելիք Շաբաթօրեայ Վարժարանի շրջանաւարտ աշակերտները մօտեցան Սուրբ Խորան եւ Տէր Հօր կողմէ օրհնուեցան, որպէսզի Աստուծոյ պահպանութիւնն ու առաջնորդութիւնը ընկերանան անոնց ճամբորդութեան ընթացքին։ Այնուհետեւ Տէր Հայրը փոխանցեց օրուան քարոզը՝ անդրադառնալով հայրերու կոչումին, ընտանիքի կարեւորութեան եւ քրիստոնէական դաստիարակութեան արժէքին։ Յատկապէս Հայաստան մեկնելիք շրջանաւարտ աշակերտներուն դիմելով՝ ան մաղթեց, որ իրենց ամառնային արձակուրդին ամենագեղեցիկ եւ անմոռանալի պահերէն մէկը ըլլայ Արարատ լերան տեսութիւնը՝ որպէս ազգային եւ հոգեւոր ինքնութեան կենդանի խորհրդանիշ։ 9

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church by the Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, Vicar of the Armenian Diocese of Canada and Parish Priest of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a special blessing service was held. The recipients of the 2026 Fathers of the Year recognition, Mr. Shahe Keshishian and Mr. Haig Derian, together with their families, processed to the Holy Altar, where they received a special blessing from the Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian. In recognition of Father's Day, they were also presented with commemorative certificates.

Following this, the graduates of the Saturday School who are traveling to Armenia approached the Holy Altar and received Fr. Zareh's blessing, praying that God's protection and guidance would accompany them throughout their journey.

Fr. Zareh then delivered the day's sermon, reflecting on the vocation of fatherhood, the importance of the family, and the value of Christian upbringing. Addressing the graduating students who are traveling to Armenia, he expressed his hope that one of the most beautiful and unforgettable moments of their summer would be seeing Mount Ararat, a living symbol of the Armenian nation's spiritual and cultural identity.

Զարգարեանի, Կիրակնօրեայ Դպրոցի ուսուցիչներուն, աշակերտներուն եւ անոնց ծնողներուն մասնակցութեամբ, տեղի ունեցաւ Sunday School Bible Fair and Graduation ձեռնարկը։ Տէր Հայրը իր ողջոյնի եւ շնորհաւորական խօսքին մէջ բարձր գնահատեց Կիրակնօրեայ Դպրոցի տնօրէնուհի Տիկ. Անի Կէնճը եւ ուսուցչական կազմը՝ անոնց նուիրեալ աշխատանքին, սիրով մատուցուած ծառայութեան եւ տարիներու հետեւողական նուիրումին համար։ Շնորհաւորական խօսքերէն ետք ներկաները վայելեցին պատրաստուած համեղ աղի եւ քաղցր խմորեղէնները։ Ապա Տէր Հայրը մէկ առ մէկ այցելեց աշակերտներուն պատրաստած ցուցասեղանները, ուր ներկայացուած էին Աստուածաշունչի տարբեր նիւթերուն նուիրուած ձեռային աշխատանքներ։ Ան հետաքրքրութեամբ դիտեց իւրաքանչիւր ցուցասեղան, զրուցեց աշակերտներուն հետ եւ բարձր գնահատեց անոնց պատրաստած աշխատանքները՝ քաջալերելով զանոնք շարունակելու սիրով ուսումնասիրել Աստուածաշունչը եւ ամրապնդել իրենց քրիստոնէական հաւատքը։ 11

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, following the Divine Liturgy, the Sunday School Bible Fair and Graduation took place in the Magaros Artinyan Hall, with the participation of the Rev. Archpriest Fr. Zareh Zargarian, the teachers of the Sunday School, the students, and their parents.

In his welcoming and congratulatory r emarks, Fr. Zareh expressed his deep appreciation to Mrs. Ani Gench, Principal of the Sunday School, and to the teaching staff for their dedicated work, loving service, and years of faithful commitment. Following the congratulatory remarks, those in attendance enjoyed a selection of delicious sweet and savory pastries.

Fr. Zareh then visited each of the students' display tables, where handcrafted projects inspired by various themes from the Holy Bible were exhibited. He viewed each display with great interest, spoke with the students, and highly commended their work, encouraging them to continue studying the Holy Bible with love and to strengthen their Christian faith.
