Where we are going

The Word of God Promises that you can have whatever you say in Faith. – St. Mark 11: 23, 24 If you desire a breakthrough in your finances, make the following word based confessions daily and speak your financial prosperity into existence today! •

In the name of Jesus, I declare that God’s desire for me is to prosper financially.

I possess the power to seize wealth, and lay hold on my covenant right to be free from bondage to debt, lack and insufficiency.

Abundance, prosperity and the good life are mine.

I speak to the mountain of circumstances and command it be removed from my life now!

God is my Source; He is the God of breakthrough.

Therefore, by faith I declare that this is my receiving day and year of financial breakthrough!

I will give God what belongs to Him, His tithe–it’s not mine to begin with.

I will give the Lord an offering, to move His heart towards me.

I will discipline my spending and watch the miracles of God in my finances.

I declare this in Jesus name!

As God is ushering in a new season and position for Tabernacle of Praise, He is also blowing a fresh wind and a fresh fire on this house. This fresh wind is touching everyone but only a receiving heart, a renewed mind and an obedient spirit will move with the tenacity of the wind of God (the Spirit).

Tabernacle, we are in the beginning of a renaissance moment. We are experiencing precise and significant changes to the House, manifesting through new ideas, new focus and new determination. We have been given a new direction though the workings of the Holy Spirit for the will of God. We have a huge responsibility as the dwelling place for the National Headquarters, but we must remember our first love and our first vision, the house known as “The Tabernacle” and the building of the New Cathedral. We must continue to support our church with our tithes and off erings. We must commit to evangelism to bringing souls into the fold. We will be 10,000 plus and we will build the Temple.

The Color Yellow Minister Sandra Tomlinson-Cameron

Biblical References: “Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, You will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her feathers with yellow gold.” Psalm 68:13 The items within the Tabernacle and Temple were covered with gold, for example the Ark of the Covenant, the mercy seat and Cherubim: “..they shall make an ark of acacia wood; shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out you shall overlay it, and shall make on it a molding of gold all around.” Ex 25:10-11 “You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width. And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.” Ex 25:17-18

Gold is connected to that which is Holy to God and shows the nature of God’s Word and law: “You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD.” Exodus 28:36 “The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold” Psalm 19:9-10 Gold/Yellow signifies unsullied. In the Tabernacle construction we see that though the various items were made of wood, they were overlaid with gold which is unsullied. This symbolizes corruptible human nature overlaid with the gold of a pure and refined faith, thus making the true believer acceptable to God. “How the gold has become dim! How changed the fine gold! The stones of the sanctuary are scattered at the head of every street. The precious sons of Zion, Valuable as fine gold, how they are regarded as clay pots, the work of the hands of the potter!” Lamentations 4:1-2 “...that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” 1Peter 1:7 “Here’s what I want you to do: Buy your gold from me, gold that’s been through the refiner’s fire. Then you’ll be rich. Buy your clothes from me, clothes designed in Heaven. You’ve gone around halfnaked long enough. And buy medicine for your eyes from me so you can see, really see. Revelation 3:18 Yellow is the color of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow produces a warning effect, arouses cheerfulness, and stimulates mental activity. So as we are adorned in our various shades of Yellow let us see the symbolism of the Holiness of God and the Strength of our Faith. SEPTEMBER 2009 CONNECTED 13

Organic By Moniquea McClean

I was reading one of my daily devotional emails by an author named Milan Ford. He was sharing his experience at a Whole Foods Supermarket and his fear of all things organic. He began to write about the similarities between the organic fruit and veggies we eat and the fruits of the Spirit. As the wheels in my head began to turn, the message began to take on a whole new appearance. It’s a bit mind boggling that fruits and veggies not sprayed with fertilizers and

pesticides would be considered out of the norm. How many of us go out of our way to buy fruits that are labeled organic? Its become a new trend but most of us like Milan are a bit hesitant when we see the word “Organic. Think about that! Organic means that they were naturally grown and products not labeled Organic have high chances of being loaded with everything unnatural. Yet we shy away from things that are natural. Pesticides and synthetic fertilizers help

repel insects and rodents that would otherwise eat the farmer’s crop. They also help the produce grow to un-natural sizes. I love when I see huge red strawberries in the supermarket but some sizes have clearly been doctored. Why would I want to ingest food that has been sprayed with chemicals whose purpose it is to kill? Of course the good side to the pesticides is it keeps rodents away and it helps it to grow quickly and sometimes bigger than normal. I hope you are catching my subtle references to the body of Christ. Let me spell it out for you.

righteous Christian living, homosexuality, adultery, lying etc. In order for me to produce organically I need to know what the Word says about how I should live my life. I can’t tell the devil to flee if the only message I’ve been taught is that Christians are supposed to be wealthy.

Out of the Heart

By Sis. Daphne Noriega Saints of God, I am in a fight with an opponent that is relentless. I am fighting the spirit of Lack. I may dress it up and put a shine to it, but the thing is Lack is lurking at my door. I know that it is everywhere and is tormenting everyone but when it has not been the “norm” you tend to wrestle a bit harder. It’s like a relative or friend who mooches and you must do your best to put a stop to it. This is just a little taste of how I deal with this enemy.

Fighting Lack I am tired of your tactics you spirit of lack Its time you acknowledge my God has my back Every move that I make you make it with me You dreaded spirit of lack it is time that you flee

I am living by grace day after day Trusting in what God’s word has to say The bills are more than what I can earn And they keep coming at me at every turn But I know who I am and to whom I belong So I begin each day with a prayer and a song Lack you are a demon, your action is so vile You target every man, woman and child I am a lender; a borrower I was not meant to be I am a tither and a giver so I am recession free Lack you are a loser when you try to bring me fear I am God’s child and he knows what I can bear The weapons of my warfare are mighty to the punch The blood of Jesus keeps lack from having me for lunch I will stand on God’s word and crush your slimy head I will not relent until the fear of lack is dead God is so awesome he holds our future in his hands I believe lack and poverty is not according to his plans I will enjoy life the way God intended it to be I will not worry for tomorrow, as it is not owed to me Lack take a flying leap for your days are so done I will fight with all my might until the victory is won I will endeavor to be a good steward of all that I own I will be blessed to be a blessing by the seeds I have sown
