After five months in Spain (initially meant to be two months but extended) we are finally returning to our home in Ojai, California this month. It has been amazing to spend some time here, especially seeing my parents, and little Ty having the privilege of spending time with them most days. However, now Ojai is calling us back to its wonderful ways. We are missing our friends there, the mystical energy, the beautiful oak trees, and seeing the humming birds flitting about the flowers. The last few weeks have been a little stressful. Firstly, one evening Ty threw up a bright yellow liquid all over the floor, himself, my pyjamas, and the bed sheets‌ twelve times in total. This concerned me somewhat and we were debating whether or not to take him to the hospital. We decided not to when, after throwing up for the eleventh time, he raised his arms towards the bedroom door handle, asking with his eyes, in his usual chirpy manner, to be lifted up so he could open it. Shortly after opening and closing the door several times, he fell asleep on the bed, exhausted. He woke up the next morning and asked for the ipad, so at that point we knew he was totally fine!

Strange News who has had this, you will know it is painful and not much fun. It is also very time consuming, as getting better involves taking various vitamins, massages, drinking turmeric with hot water, and applying hot packs, castor oil, and even cabbage leaves, would you believe?! But all better now, and about to head to my mum and dad’s, who are currently looking after Ty, so I can feed him and also have a spot of lunch. Adios for now.... Take a look at page 105 for all the fiestas and events taking place in April, enjoy!!

Hot cash Customers in Mexico hoping to use a cash machine were forced to wait after they found a couple having sex next to it instead. There are probably more romantic backdrops around than the wall of a bank, but for one couple it seemed it was a good place to spend some quality time together. They were filmed locked in an embrace, as the woman steadied herself by putting her hand on the cash machine, under a sign reading HSBC. As no-one wanted to go inside to use the cash machine while it was going on, a crowd built up outside the bank in Oaxaca, Mexico. Mile high pint AN airline has introduced the world's first beer specially designed to taste best at 35,000 feet. Cathay Pacific has adopted scientific processes to produce Betsy Beer which counteracts the effect cabin pressure has in dulling the tastebuds. "Dragon eye fruits" from Hong Kong, honey and Fuggle hops are featured in the special recipe which "fuses brewing techniques with aviation science." Aliens on the moon? Space agencies never fly to the Moon any more... because it is too dangerous for us to go there, it has been claimed. A growing conspiracy theory suggests the Moon is occupied by advanced aliens that have banned humans from returning. The theory links in with others that claim there are alien bases on the dark side of the Moon. In a feature devoted to the theory, conspiracy theory website Ancient Code said: "Have you ever asked yourself why mankind has not returned to the moon in recent years? "According to many researchers and Ufologists, the American space agency is hiding a sinister secret from society, and we are not familiar with everything that has occurred—and is still occurring—on the surface of the moon. "Many people claim there is enough evidence to suggest there are Alien bases on the moon. "Rumours, declassified documents and whistleblowers have come forward saying that agencies around the globe simply cannot afford to let society know what’s really on the moon."

Fifty Shades Of Chocolate! Then he slipped his hand into her Snickers, which made her Ripple.

Chocolate fun...

Mr Cadbury met Miss Rowntree on a Double Decker.

He fondled her Jelly Babies and she rubbed his Tic Tacs.

It was just After Eight. They got off at Quality Street. He asked her name. 'Polo, I'm the one with the hole' she said, with a Wispa.

Soon they were Heart Throbs. It was a Fab moment as she screamed in Turkish Delight.

'I'm Marathon, the one with the nuts' he replied.

But, 3 days later, his Sherbet Dip Dab started to itch.

He touched her Cream Eggs, which was a Kinder Surprise for her.

Turns out Miss Rowntree had been with Bertie Bassett and he had Allsorts.

A different situation arises where one of the parties tries to avoid or deny the effects of an order. Under EU Regulation 44/2001 of 22nd December it is possible to ask for a foreign order to be executed in Spain. The procedure for putting the order into effect will be Spanish procedure. Brexit may affect the Regulation but there are other legal proceedings available for orders from countries outside Europe. This allows for an embargo or charge to be placed against the property to prevent the other party from disposing of the asset. This is particularly important where property is registered in the sole name of one of the parties only. For

Funny Thoughts Just think about it... Those who can laugh without cause have either found the true meaning of happiness or have gone stark raving mad. Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavour, while dishwashing liquid is made with real lemons? Why is the man who invests all your money called a 'Broker'? Why isn't there a mouse flavoured cat food? Why do they call the airport 'the terminal' if flying is so safe? I had the blues because I had no shoes until upon the street, I met a man who had no feet. If people from Poland are called 'Poles', why aren't people from Holland called 'Holes?'

You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation. Why is a wise man and wise guy opposites? Why do overlook and oversee mean opposite things? Why isn't 11 pronounced onety one? If lawyers are disbarred and clergymen defrocked, doesn't it follow that electricians can be delighted, musicians denoted, cowboys deranged, models deposed, tree surgeons debarked and dry cleaners depressed? Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. Laugh, and the world laughs with you; Weep, and you weep alone.

Interesting Facts... Often at the centre of Middle Eastern conflicts, despite its small size, because of its borders with Syria and Israel and its uniquely complex communal make-up, Lebanon has been a refuge for the regions minorities for centuries. After the fall of the Ottoman Empire, the League of Nations put Lebanon under a French mandate until it declared independence in the Second World War. Lebanon used to be known as the “Switzerland of the East” due to the diversity and financial power that it enjoyed. The countries name is the oldest in the world and has remained unchanged for over 4,000 years. The name of the country ‘Lebanon’ originated from the Semitic root ‘lbn’ which means ‘white’. Lebanon is the one and only Asian country which has no desert. The world’s first ever law school was founded in the city of Beirut.

Easter Jokes Happy Easter!! Just had the best lent of my entire life. I gave up sacrifice. Anonymous Easter is so disappointing. You suffer all the way through lent, and what do you get for it? A ham. Garrison Keillor Lent was invented so Catholics could take another shot at their New Year’s resolutions. Melanie White I gave up lots of stuff for Lent. I lent my neighbor my mower, I lent my son my tuxedo, and I lent my daughter my car. Anonymous I wanted to give up my children for Lent, but nobody would take them. Melanie White Having trouble selling my Lent calendars where every day you open a new square and it's empty. David Acer Lent is when the vegetarians try to convert the Catholics. Melanie White

My father was so cheap. Every Easter we’d wear the same clothes, but he’d take us to a different church. AJ Jamal A guy comes down to earth, takes your sins, dies, and comes back three days later. You believe in him and go to heaven forever. How do you get from that to Hide-The-Eggs? Did Jesus have a problem with eggs? Did he go, “When I come back, if I see any eggs, the whole salvation thing is off.” Jon Stewart That first Easter must have been awkward, because you know the apostles had already divided up Jesus' stuff. Anonymous The only reason I still participate in Easter is that my family eggs me on. Melanie White Easter tastes better than Halloween, and you don't have to ring a lot of doorbells. Billy

One of them said, 'I'm the best surgeon in the state. In my favourite case, a concert pianist lost seven fingers in an accident; I re-attached them, and 8 months later he performed a private concert for the Queen of England'. The second surgeon said. 'That's nothing. I had a young man lost an arm and both legs in an accident; I re-attached them, and 2 years later he won a gold Medal in track and field events in the Olympic Games'. The third surgeon said, 'Compared with me you guys are just amateurs. Several years ago a man was high on cocaine and marijuana and he rode a horse head-on into a train travelling at 80 miles an hour. All I had left to work with was the man's blonde hair and the horse's ass. I was able to put them together and now he's president of the USA!!

Ac Eddie Comes from the word Edward, Eduardo, Edwardo, Edwin. But there are the lucky few who only have the name Eddie. Usually referred to as a guys name. Eddie's are usually very nice, pretty attractive, love sex, love making people laugh, very smart and usually strive for the hardest things in life. They are the perfect guys to date and have an insane amount of friends.

Ermahgerd Used for internet memes. An obnoxious way to say "Oh, My God" with strong emphasis on the R sounds. Typically followed by other words with emphasis on the R sounds.

Epic fail Complete and total failure when success should have been reasonably easy to attain. Emotional dump Unloading all of your emotional crap unmercifully onto one or more of your friends. Empty leg Expression used by rough older British blokes to describe taking a really big piss when they've not been to the bathroom for a while.

Errorist Someone who repeatedly makes mistakes. Says stuff he believes is true, but anyone with common sense can see he's wrong. A dumbass.

Eau D’ouche The obnoxious, headache-inducing cologne cloud that surrounds a beefy, tight-Armani-shirt wearing bloke.

Economic Vegetarian Only eating Vegetables because you can't afford to buy meat.

Emergency walk When you are at the breaking point of pi***** or sh***** your pants. You can't run because that would shake it all out.

Eglaf A word that literally has no meaning. It can be used in place of any word.

Execubabble Verbal executive communication in broad, vague terms that rise above normal speak. Characterized by an excessive use of executive words such as robust, paradigm, and drill down. Those on the receiving end of execubabble are no better informed after the speech than when it began.

Food As Medicine Welcome to our Food As Medicine section. Each month we will be featuring different fresh food items and showing you how they help us all to stay healthy and happy. We'll also be suggesting how you can use your diet to address many common ailments that affect us all from time to time. No 4. Carrot... A Brief History Carrots (Daucus carota L.), originally yellow and purple in colour, were first documented in Persia and Northern Arabia in the 10th century and by the mid-15th century were known across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and China. Yellow carrots were preferred in northern Europe until the development of orange carrots in The Netherlands in the 18th century. It is believed that Egyptian Pharaohs used carrots for medicinal purposes. The early Native Americans used carrot roots for food and also utilised an infusion of the blossoms to treat diabetes. The Food Deliciously crunchy and bitter/sweet in taste, carrots are a root vegetable containing carotenoids, flavonoids, polyacetylenes, vitamins and minerals, all of which possess numerous nutritional and health benefits. Besides lending truth to the old adage that carrots are good for eyes, the phytonutrients present in carrots also act as antioxidants, anticarcinogens, and immunoenhancers. The Medicine Carrots help repair damaged cells and they are a great food for the liver health. They are a quality source of beta-carotene that our body uses to create the Vitamin A that is so vital for the health of our eyes, bones, teeth and skin. They are also rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, which are also important for eye health. The leaves are highly antiseptic and can be used to heal mouth ulcers, bleeding gums and can be used as a mouthwash to neutralise bad breath. Containing vitamin A, B, C, E and K, biotin and dietary fibre, carrots also provide us with; potassium, calcium, sulphur, sodium, phosphorus and manganese. Carrots can be used in the treatment of: Failing eyesight / Lung and pancreatic cancer Colds / Anaemia / Deteriorating complexion Unhealthy nails, skin and hair / Diarrhoea Ulcers / Haemorrhoids

The Side Effects Improves eyesight / Boosts heart health Reduces blood pressure / Aids digestion Stimulates gums Did you Know? Carrots are made up of approximately 80% water. While the availability of the antioxidants in carrots increases when cooked, most of the vitamins and minerals are destroyed. Carrots were originally grown as medicine for a variety of ailments but were not used as food. Our absorption of Vitamin A is significantly enhanced when we eat raw carrots together with fresh avocado. Holtville, California, with the motto, "we dig carrots" calls itself the carrot capital of the world and holds an annual carrot festival. And finally‌ What did the snowman say to the crow? Can you smell carrots? See main advert below

Monthly Baking Blog By Susan Jane Cute Easter Bunny Cake It’s Easter this month so what better way to celebrate than with this Cute Easter Bunny Cake. Please do not be put off if you are not a cake maker or decorator as this recipe is super easy, once you have made this cake I’m certain you will want to do more!! Make it a showstopper centrepiece for your table this Easter. All the ingredients are sourcable locally so there should be no problem getting hold of what you need, so here goes.. Step 1. Make a 6” round (15cm) chocolate sponge cake. If you bake regularly make the cake as you choose, if not I have given a standard recipe here:Ingredients: 170g Butter or Margarine 170g Sugar 3 Eggs (beaten) 140g S.R Flour 30g Cocoa Powder 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 250g pack of white fondant icing (Mercadona) Red Food Colouring (Mercadona) Method: 1) Line x 2 shallow 6” cake tins with greaseproof paper. 2) Turn oven on to 175 degrees fan. 3) Cream butter and sugar until fluffy and creamy, slowly add the beaten eggs. Sieve in the dry ingredients and fold carefully into the mixture. 4) Divide into the cake tins and smooth with a spatula. 5) Place in the middle of the oven and bake for 20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean. 6) Remove from the oven, leave to cool. Remove from tins. Once cool, sit the cake on a board or cake plate. Chocolate Butttercream Filling: 200g Icing Sugar 50g Cocoa Powder 100g Butter softened 1 tablespoon of the milk

To Decorate: Kit Kat x 2 packs (from Mercadona) X1 Pack of chocolate covered wafer balls. If you can get hold of Cadbury’s mini eggs, or maltesers they work just as well. Pretty Ribbon - optional 1) Cream the icing sugar and butter with spoon, add the cocoa powder and stir in the milk, then beat a little longer until the buttercream is smooth and spreadable. 2) Spread two thirds of the mixture over one of the cakes, place second cake on top. 3) Use remaining mixture to coat around the top & outside edge of the cake. 4) Open the KitKat and separate each finger and stick to the outside of the cake. 5) Stick chocolate eggs or balls onto the top of the cake. Making the sugar Bunny: 1) Using the white icing fondant make the following - x1 large ball for the body (golf ball size) x 2 small balls for the feet (almond size) x1 small ball for the bobble tail (malteser size) - roll on a cheese grater to get a rough finish. 2) Colour a small piece of white icing with a tiny drop of red colouring to make the pink paw pads. 3) Make a small amount of royal icing by adding a little water to icing sugar. 4) Shape the feet into an oval, add pink paw pads by rolling out x6 tiny pink balls – see photo. Stick on the pink balls to the base of the feet. 5) Stick on the bobble tail and feet to the body, then attach the body to the cake using a little leftover buttercream. Add in a pair of ears if you are feeling creative! 6) Finish off by tying a pretty ribbon around the outside edge of the cake.

Enjoy & Happy Easter Sue x

Professional Window Tinting & Solar Blinds How can we enjoy the sunshine at home, not get too hot and keep air conditioning costs down? The answer is Heat Control Window Film - supplied and fitted by Solar Shade to glass curtains, glazed balconies, conservatories, cars, caravans, yachts – in fact anywhere you have glass, that's where we can stick it! So what does Heat Control film do? As it sounds, it controls the sun’s heat entering the room through the glazing, making it a comfortable temperature – for example reducing 40+ Celsius to 25-30 Celsius so that air conditioning doesn't have to work so hard, thus saving money. The other unique thing is it will retain winter heat too by insulating the glass and upgrading older glass to current energy standards. This also reduces glare when the sun is low in the sky during winter months. It provides a safety feature too, by holding broken glass together in the event of an accident, thus making older single glazed glass safer – especially in areas of constant use by children. Once installed it's maintenance free but it adds privacy to your home, office, vehicle or yacht and prevents fading, so will enhance the aesthetic value overall. The Heat Film can also be supplied as a Solar blind if you want the flexibility of only seasonal use. Roller or vertical blinds can be positioned as needed to reflect glare and heat but still give that all-important view and insulate the window in winter. So go on...improve your living environment, and make living in the sun truly comfortable!

Bye Bye To Bhua Luang

Tendonitis Explained Throughout our lives our GP will tell us at some point that we have tendonitis. We nod our heads, take the medication and are still none the wiser as to what it actually means

Chris and Noy, owners of Bhua Luang Thai restaurant in Torre del Mar, have closed their doors in order to make a new move with their youngest child, Luke, to the beautiful island of Phuket in Thailand.  After more than 14 years of living in Spain cooking and serving Thai food, they decided to make the big move. The new challenge of running a busy hotel in Thailand all came about very suddenly and it was an opportunity that they could not refuse. They will be sad to leave little old Torre del Mar, and they will miss their friends, customers and aquaintances that they have met over the years. They would have loved to have said goodbye to each of you, but sadly, time did not allow. If anyone is visiting Phuket in the future and misses Noy’s cooking – or Chris’s humour – you will find them here (Green Harbor Service Apartments, Patong, Phuket, Thailand)

The Sentinella team would like to thank Noy and Chris for their custom over the past years and wish them all the very best in their new venture xx

Broken down, the word tendonitis actually explains itself. Tendons are the connective tissue that attach muscle to the bone and let your muscles move your bones. When you look at a muscle you see the muscle belly and where it tapers off at each end is the tendon. The suffix ‘Itis’ means inflammation and swelling. Here are some examples: Tendonitis = inflammation of the tendon Arthritis = inflammation of the joints Tonsilitis = inflammation of the tonsils Hepatisis = inflammation of the liver Laryngitis = inflammation of the larynx. Tendonitis When tendons are stretched beyond their capacity either overtime ie; overuse, repetitive strain, or an immediate injury when the muscles or tendons are stretched beyond their limits. For example: Tendonitis in the shoulder – The most

Tendonitis Explained (Continued) common form of tendonitis in the shoulder is rotator cuff tendonitis. It involves the tendon of the supraspinatus muscle, which attaches to the upper portion of the upper arm bone (humerus) at the shoulder joint. Less commonly, the tendon of the infraspinatus muscle or other tendons of the rotator cuff is affected. In most cases, the supraspinatus tendon is injured by overuse, typically in an occupation or sport that requires the arm to be elevated repeatedly. People at risk include carpenters, painters, welders, swimmers and tennis players. The average patient is a male laborer older than 40, and the shoulder pain is on the same side as his dominant hand (for example, right shoulder pain in a right-handed person). Tendonitis of the elbow - tennis elbow causes pain on the outer side of the elbow joint. This condition probably affects 40% to 50% of all adult athletes who play racket sports. It also can be caused by any activity that repeatedly twists and flexes the wrist, such as pulling

weeds, using a screwdriver or even carrying a briefcase. Golfer's elbow causes pain on the inner side of the elbow. It is a less common injury than tennis elbow and, despite its name, it is more likely to be related to an occupation that requires repeated elbow movements (such as construction work) than to sports. When it does occur as a sports injury, medial epicondylitis can be triggered by repeatedly swinging a golf club. Treatment of tendonitis is Ice, rest, anti-inflammatories and adapt the repetitive movements to put less strain on the area affected. It appears that the duo read from the wrong card at the prestigious ceremony, but some fans have even blamed Leonardo Di Caprio for the debacle. Viewers noticed the actor was holding the envelope for Best Actress, which was awarded to Emma Stone moments before the blunder. One fan shared a snap of Leo on stage with Emma, and tweeted: "LEO CARRIED THAT CARD OFFSTAGE PUT IT DOWN WHEN HE SAW WARREN AND WARREN PICKED IT UP #oscars." Another referenced Leo’s years of missing out on a golden statue, and wrote: "Leo masterminded this whole thing. After winning last year, he still yearned for revenge for years of embarrassment #Oscars." A third user wrote: “Tonight Leonardo DiCaprio achieved his 40-year long-planned revenge to the academy awards by changing the envelopes. #Oscars #Oscar2017.” Father’s fortune David Bowie's lawyers have urged the singer’s secret love children to come forward and claim part of his £80m fortune. A legal notice of appeal published in The Times gives Bowie's real name of David Robert Jones, who lived in New York, and asks for written claims to be made to Simkins lawyers in London by May 4 2017. Twice-married Bowie has two known children – Duncan Jones, 45, and 16-year-old Alexandria Zahra Jones, from his marriages to Angie Bowie, 67, and Iman Abdulmajid, 61, respectively. Opening up about his infamously hedonistic lifestyle during the 70s and 80s in a 2002 interview with Jonathan Ross, Bowie described himself as "incredibly promiscuous". Former Friends actor Matt said the radio DJ "does not speak to him" after announcing that he was leaving the show after just one series. Speaking for the first time about Chris, 50, leaving, Matt said: “I did not know what was coming until I read that in the paper. I also haven’t heard from him since - which is his choice. "I saw the stories that we weren’t getting along and there was a row between us but we were fine," he explained. "I like Chris Evans. I think my schedule is tough, but he was doing a radio show every morning, and that was a lot to deal with." Appearing to accept the perceived lack of chemistry between himself and Friends star Matt, Chris commented: "Some things, however, simply don’t work out. & t i u Fr Facts Veg Onions As well as making us cry, onions have a whole host of other properties! Prevents diabetes: A single serving of onions contains 27% of your biotin DRI. Biotin has many positive impacts on your health, one of which is combatting symptoms associated with type 2 diabetes. Early research suggests that a combination of biotin and chromium might help regulate blood sugar and even decrease insulin resistance. Healthy skin: Biotin is also important in maintaining healthy skin. It is used to treat brittle nails, prevent hair loss (although research is still ongoing as to its effectiveness in this regard) and maintain skin health. Improved immunity: Onions contain both vitamin C and phytochemicals that increase the effectiveness of vitamin C in your body. What does that mean? A healthier, more effective immune system, that’s what! Prevents cancer: Quercetin is more than just a funny-looking word. It’s also a plant flavonoid (which mans plant pigment) that possesses potent antioxidants, which fight against cancercausing free radicals. Free radicals are chemical compounds that damage cell membranes and cause cell death. Onions are rich in quercetin and thus are a powerful weapon in the war against cancer. Relieves stress: Quercetin doesn’t stop there. It also helps protect your body against stress. When you are stressed out, your body produces cortisol. While cortisol is totally normal, too much of it can damage muscle tissue and cause protein breakdown in the body. That’s where quercetin-rich onions come in. During times of prolonged stress, quercetin suppresses the enzyme required for cortisol re-

lease. Next time you have a stressful deadline to meet at work, bring along a few raw onions to snack on! Lowers cholesterol: Raw onion also promotes production of HDL which is the good cholesterol that you need to stay healthy. Anti-inflammatory: Onions have anti-inflammatory properties to help those who suffer from joint pain and arthritis. But the benefits of betalain are not limited to those with swollen joints – all disease is rooted in chronic inflammation and, therefore, everyone should seek out foods with anti-inflammatory properties. Lowers blood pressure: The sulphur in onions acts as a natural blood thinner and prevents blood platelets from collecting. This is good for lowering blood pressure and preventing the risk of heart attack or stroke, because you are more susceptible if blood platelets clog up. And remember quercetin? Of course you do. Well, it also helps prevent plaque build-up in the arteries which is good for preventing heart attacks and strokes. Digestion: Onions are high in fibre, which is good for maintaining a healthy and regular digestive system. Fibre prevents digestive pain and breaks down food and helps to keep it moving. Bone density: Onions bolster bone density for older women. One study found that menopausal women who incorporated onions into their diet had a 20% lower risk of health disease.

People Who Come And Go - Should I Stay Or Shall I Go? As I go about my business of taking on, offering and selling properties in this area, I have continuously come across vendors who, having reached a certain mature age, are selling up, but are not too sure whether to move to the coast or a town here in Spain, or make the move back to their countries of origin. Sometimes it is an obvious choice: the lure of spending time with new grandchildren, the need to return to one’s routes one’s home town.. But often my vendors, with no particular ties in their countries of origin, are just not sure what to do when it finally comes to the moment they accept an offer on their house. Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Last week a little event happened as I was standing at the Mercadona checkout which made me smile a wide smile and made it clear to me which would be my own choice. As I was putting my shopping into bags, helped, as usually happens in that particular supermarket, by the thirty-something, plump, healthy-looking girl at the checkout, an old man, next in the queue, no doubt sent to fetch some last minute

forgotten household items by a wife or daughter in law somewhere in the town, stared at the plump cashier and broke into song. It was a happy, flamenco-style song, full of love and adoration of the female form. The cashier, laughing, joked to the shoppers in a loud voice how there’s no need to go to a concert when you can have it for free in the supermarket! Everyone laughed and shouted at the old man, with olé’s and pats on the back, and the old man kept singing his heart out to the cashier. It was a beautiful moment, where complete strangers shared a moment of the joy of life together, with no inhibitions, just a pure love for life! At that moment, I thought that to live among these people brings us closer to what humanity is, and should be about. For me, living here is not just about the weather, it’s the people, and the whole way of living that makes it special. And that is why I would not leave. What we do here and how involved we become is up to us. But the more involved we become in the local community the more life we will live to the full. Chocci Facts Tis the season to eat choccies Chocolate comes from a fruit tree; it’s made from a seed. It takes 400 cocoa beans to make one pound of chocolate. Each cacao tree produces approximately 2,500 beans. Research to date supports that chocolate can be enjoyed as part of a balanced, heart-healthy diet and lifestyle. The average serving of milk chocolate has about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of decaf coffee. Because cacao trees are so delicate, farmers lose, on average, 30 percent of their crop each year. U.S. chocolate manufacturers use about 3.5 million pounds of whole milk every day to make milk chocolate.

Studies have demonstrated that one of the major saturated fats in chocolate does not raise cholesterol like other hard fats–meaning chocolate can be enjoyed in moderation. Theobroma Cacao is the tree that produces cocoa beans, and it means “food of the gods.” Carolus Linnaeus, the father of plant taxonomy, named it. Approximately 3 million tons of cocoa beans are turned into chocolate products each year. Rudolph Lindt designed the first conching machine, its bed curved like a conch shell. Cote d’Ivoire is the single largest producer of cocoa, providing roughly 40 percent of the world’s supply.

The old loved story of Beauty and the Beast remains rock solid: two bookworms fall in love, helped along by an assortment of sentient household items. Dan Stevens appears in human form before an enchantress appears and zaps him with a frankly unreasonable curse. From then on, he’s in full Beast mode, with a subwoofer voice and giant horns. As for Beauty, Emma Watson immediately charms in her big opening number, in which the heroine suffers a village-worth’s of idiots sharing their inner monologues through song.

grouchy heffalump — but finds the right combination of innocence and grit. With smart reworkings of some plot strands and some new songs, it’s 45 minutes longer than its predecessor in 1991. An unabashed musical with its heart on its sleeve and energy to spare, it’s decidedly unbeastly. Star Rating - ****/*****

) : a h a Jokes h Thanks to AP & MP for the following jokes The man placed an order for one hamburger, French fries and a drink. He unwrapped the plain hamburger and carefully cut it in half, placing one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counted out the French fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placed one pile in front of his wife. He took a sip of the drink, his wife took a sip and then set the cup down between them. As he began to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them were looking over and whispering. Obviously they were thinking, 'That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them.' As the man began to eat his fries a young man came to the table and politely offered to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man said, they were just fine - they were used to sharing everything. People closer to the table noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sat there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.. Again, the young man came over and begged them to let him buy another meal for them. This time the old woman said 'No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything.' Finally, as the old man finished and was wiping his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again came over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asked 'What is it you are waiting for?' She answered "The teeth". ------------------------------------------------------------I walked into the pet shop yesterday and saw an old mate working there. I said, "alright Davey, don't you work in Burger King anymore then?" "Nah, moved on since then. What can I get you?" "Glad to hear it. I'm looking for a tropical frog."

"Do you want flies with that?" ------------------------------------------------------------Technology has come on so far recently. Just today a policeman told me about a jumper that you can actually use as a phone. After stopping me in my car he said. "If you insist on making calls when you're driving at least use a hands free set or pull over". "Wow! what an age we live in." I said. ------------------------------------------------------------What's huge, with four-wheel drive and no child seats? Every car in the "Parent & Child" spaces at Miramar!! ------------------------------------------------------------I walked up to a fat bloke in the gym and said, "What are you pressing at the moment?" "Why do you want to know?" he asked. "I'm just interested" I said, "Come on, what are you pressing?" He said, "E31, it's a Mars Bar." ------------------------------------------------------------A six-year-old goes to the hospital with her mother to visit her Grandpa. When they get to the hospital, she runs ahead of her mother and bursts into her grandpa's room. "Grandpa, Grandpa," she says excitedly, "As soon as my mum comes into the room make a noise like a frog! "What?" said her grandpa. "Make a noise like a frog because my mum said that as soon as you croak, we're all going to disneyland! ------------------------------------------------------------Apparently the wind has caused 2 million pounds worth of improvements in Blackpool. ------------------------------------------------------------When one door closes, another one opens. These IKEA wardrobes are shit! ------------------------------------------------------------A man goes into a library and asks the librarian, "Have you got a book about the surgical removal of non vital organs?" The librarian replies,"Yes, its that one over there without an appendix."

Frank said 'Lord, I don't wish to complain but, I think this bread is stale?’ God said, it's not bread Frank, 'It's a Cracker'! ------------------------------------------------------------The stunning blonde dressed in nothing more than a thong and negligee, let the plumber in. "Hello, is your husband not in?" he asked, "Does it look like he is in?" she replied opening her negligee, "Will I not do?" "No, not really," he said, "I need your car reversing out of the drive." ------------------------------------------------------------I bought a train ticket to France and the ticket seller said, 'Eurostar?' We ees in the desert don't forget." "Pepe, since when deed you ever hear of a meerage that smell like bacon? Ees no meerage, ees a bacon tree!" With that, Luis staggers towards the tree. He gets to within 5 yards, Pepe crawling close behind, when suddenly a machine gun opens up, and Luis drops like a wet sock. Mortally wounded, he warns Pepe with his dying breath: "Pepe, go back man, you was right, ees not a bacon tree!" "Luis, Luis miamigo, what ees it?" "Pepe ees not a bacon tree. Ees...Ees...Ees... Ees...Ees...Ees... Ees... a ham bush."
