Harry O’Grady Represents Liberal Vannin in Victoria Ward The Liberal Vannin Party is pleased to announce that Harry O’Grady will represent them in Victory Ward Douglas. Harry’s family were originally from James Street and he has lived and worked in Victoria ward for most of his life.
In 1984 Harry and his wife set up Harry’s Cafe in Market Hall, Douglas. The cafe was very popular with young and old alike and, although it has changed hands a number of times, it still holds the same name and its popularity.
In 1998 Harry opened Feegan’s Internet Cafe in Duke Street which was the first to provide high-speed broadband internet access to the public of the Isle of Man. In 2004 the premises were relocated to Victoria Street to include Feegan’s Continental Cafe.
Harry and his wife retired from the business and Harry now offers accountancy and bookkeeping service to the public from an office at the rear of the Town Hall.
Harry joined the Liberal Vannin Party as he believes Party politics is the only way forward. Chairman Roy Redmayne is delighted that Harry will represent the party in Victoria Ward. Harry has a long and established association with the Ward especially in business and will be an excellent candidate to represent the people of Victoria Ward.
