DREAM BLUE NEWSLETTER HEP Students Learn About “Clean Energy” On November 29, 2010, the HEP students spent their day building robots, airplanes, and car all of which were powered by different kinds of energy, such as wind, solar, water, or electrical energy. The activity was interactive and engaging, allowing students to learn about the different forms of energy and how they can be used safely and wisely. They also learned about Renewable energy and how and why it’s important to conserve energy. Renewable energy is made from resources that Mother Nature will replace, like wind, water and sunshine. They learned that Renewable energy is the wave of the future and is also known as “clean energy” or “green power” because it doesn’t pollute the air or the water.
