Food Standards Italian Meatball Flat Bread ▪ ▪

Our delicious oven-fired flat bread is topped with marinara sauce, sautéed peppers and onions and meatballs. You can use half-ounce meatballs cut in half or jumbo meatballs cut in four.

Italian Meatball Sub ▪ ▪

A small sub stuffed full of 2 jumbo meatballs with Marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Simple but divine!

Meatball Sliders ▪ ▪

Replace slider burger with meatballs in several of our existing slider recipes for a new presentation and taste Just flatten the cooked meatball slightly before adding the toppings.

Food Standards - Continued Vietnamese Meatball Banh Mi Sandwich ▪

The ever popular Banh Mi is filled with spicy mayonnaise, meatballs tossed in Sesame Thai dressing and topped with Carrot Daikon pickle and fresh cilantro. A real taste of Vietnam.

Lebanese Meatball and Hummus Pita ▪ ▪

A perfect pairing of pita bread, hummus and Tzaziki with meatballs, Tabbouleh and fresh mint. A wonderful Middle Eastern treat.

Penne with Jumbo Meatballs ▪ ▪ ▪

Simple but so delicious. Jumbo or mini meatballs are topped with Marinara sauce over whole wheat penne. Top with grated Parmesan and fresh basil sprigs.

Food Standards - Continued Meatball Skewers ▪ ▪

Skewer one jumbo or three small meatballs with peppers and onions. Grill to perfection and serve over rice with dipping sauce.

Meatball Lollipops ▪

One jumbo meatball is cooked and served on a skewer with Marinara sauce for dipping and fresh basil garnish. Sell them individually with choice of side dishes.

Spicy Asian Meatball Sub ▪ ▪

Sriracha Slaw is the base for meatballs served on a small sub bun. Easy to make but very tasty and delicious!

Food Standards - Continued Meatball Action Station 1. Set up your action station at Showtime or other station where there are induction cookers. 2. Use the chart below to choose your selection of ingredients. 3. Precook the Meatballs and keep hot at the station. It takes too long to pan fry them to order. Pan fried or bake them according to manufacturer’s directions. Use 6 small or 2 jumbo meatballs, depending on your sector recommendation. 4. Prepare all the vegetables, blanching those that take a longer time to cook e.g. carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. 5. Clean and chop fresh herbs for garnish. 6. Prepare all starch side dishes in advance – all should be hot held at the station. 7. All vegetables and sauces should be cold held at the station. 8. Refer to the Action Station Meatball recipe #29620 in smart for details. Note: Follow all HACCP guidelines for cooking, cold holding and reheating. Refer to recipe for details.
