Giant’s innovative oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to offer unprecedented frontend steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings and tapered steerer tube work in harmony to provide supreme steering stiffness. A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 89.5mm-wide bottombracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front-end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented pedalling stiffness. Every Giant 29er features big-wheel adjusted geometry to provide just the right blend of sharp handling with a forgiving and stable wheelbase.
5 Perfect Pivots
Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages create a single floating pivot point. This improves pedalling efficiency by counteracting the pedalling forces that produce suspension compression or pedal kickback.
The innovative co-pivot design saves considerable weight with the use of one axle to connect both the lower link and the lower shock mount to the front triangle.
Minimal guides provide clean routing of hydraulic or mechanically activated dropper seatpost lines.
