Hi everyone! I hope you’ve been having a nice March so far. I’m very excited for LEDCON next month and I hope you are too! Make sure your club has signed up for contests & awards if they are attending LEDCON. I look forward to seeing you there! I was not very productive this spring break, but it was nice to sleep all day. If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Plan and host fundraisers to support UNICEF’s Start Strong: Zambia project by donating your profits! Check out this presentation for more background knowledge and information.

The Texas-Oklahoma and Bahamas Districts are having a joint fundraiser to support Thirst Project to combat and alleviate the global water crisis. Access this link to learn more and donate!

LLEDCO EDCO

Every year, our district hosts an annual convention called the Leadership Education District Convention, also known as LEDCON or DCON. LEDCON is an extremely exciting experience as you get to create lasting memories with friends or new people you meet, and you get to learn valuable skills! There are many fun activities and engaging forums. In order to attend LEDCON, fundraising is highly encouraged. This year, the LEDCON theme is Shining in Service! So come dressed as your favorite celebrity or your favorite character from a movie/show!

K-Kids is the largest service organization for elementary school students. Club members discover their passion to serve, desire to lead and their ability to engage and collaborate with others to better the school and community.

Builders Club is the largest service organization for middle school and junior high students. Members learn to work together and develop servantleaders skills as they serve their school and community.

Key Club is a student-led, high school organization. Our members make the world a better place through service. Our members constantly improve the community by engaging in volunteering.

Circle K International is the premier collegiate and university community service, leadership development, and friendship organization in the world.

Circle K clubs are organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club on a college or university campus.

Aktion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities, with more than 10,000 members worldwide. Club members become competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service.

Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Today, Consisting of 550,000+ members from K-Kids to Key Club to Kiwanis and many ages in between in 80 countries and geographic areas.
