Santiago, Lacaste, Vertibo: Let the Fight Begin

he NCST Senior High School students Jaybee Santiago, Rayzil Lacaste, and James Andrew Vertibo bagged the medal from Division Schools Press Conference held at Dasmariñas II Central Elementary School last September 6, 2018. James Andrew Vertibo made it to the top as he won 3rd place in Sports Writing Filipino. “Yes, pressure is everywhere because we all know that when we compete RSPC, hundreds of well-trained hopefuls are there but my mindset is to reach my goal because it is a privilege to represent our school,” Vertibo said. Their mentors Ms. Dazzle Muli and Ms. Jennelyn Macalalay said that they are doing everything to support and provide their needs in training. The three young men will represent the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas for this upcoming Regional Schools Press Conference to be held at Sta. Cruz, Laguna on first week of November.

FINEST FACES Deanon, Pamatian nail Mr. And Ms. NCST 2018 JOANA DE TORRES

he 16 candidates proudly represent their strand as they compete for the one crown where John Patrick Deanon and Carmela Marie Pamatian had been titled as Mr. and Ms. NCST 2018 held at Robinson’s Place, Dasmariñas Cavite on September 28, 2018. Pamatian won special awards: Best in Formal Wear, Best in School Uniform, Best in Sports Wear. According to her it was’nt easy to manage her lessons and rehearsals, so she needs to sacrifice. “I am happy and proud because after all the hardships and sacrifices, it’s
worth it,” she added. On the other hand, Deanon also get special awards such as Best in Talent, Best in Formal Wear, Sports Wear and Casual Wear. “ I didn’t expect to get those awards because another candidates also present their attire confidently, I was surprised,” Deanon said.
As the new Mr. And Ms. NCST 2018, Deanon and Pamatian planned to tighten the Anti-Bullying and Drug addiction Campaign in NCST SHS to eliminate the victims of bullying and drug addiction.

he administration of National College of Science and Technology — Senior High School gives a refreshment to relieve the students’ stress and to let them remember their childhood through Octoberfest held at NCST gymnasium last October 23, 2018.
The the opening mass, the students shouted for joy as the host announced the start of the activity by implementing rules and regulations regarding to the flow of the said activity. “This event aims to build sportmanship in students and para masaya rin yung pasok ng sembreak ng ating students,” Mr. Bernie Manalo said.
