Selena Gomez doesn’t post that often. But it’s no surprise that Selena has hit such a milestone, especially since she posts so many stunning selfies and adorable stage photos with her fans, all of which get millions of likes. However, that being said, Gomez hasn’t actually posted on Instagram since 15th August, because she’s taking some time off after cancelling her upcoming tour shows due to her Lupus. But, despite not being active for over a month, people still continued to follow her. Now that shows the true power of Selenators and her adoring fans! Did you know that 100 million is FOUR TIMES the population of Texas, which is where Selena was born? How crazy is that?! Congratulations to Selena on reaching such an incredible follower count!!! #OMG Facts ABOUT ADELE PHOTOS: DANNY KAAN
Adele provided vocals for Jack Peñate's song, "My Yvonne," for his debut 2007 album, and it was during this session she first met producer Jim Abbiss, who would go on to produce both the majority of her debut album, 19, and tracks on 21. An appearance she made on Saturday Night Live in late 2008 boosted her career in the US. The episode, which included an expected appearance by then US vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, earned the program its best ratings in 14 years with 17 million viewers.
West Norwood is the subject for Adele’s first record, “Hometown Glory”, which she wrote and composed in 2004, when she was 16. 18
Adele began singing at age four and asserts that she became obsessed with voices. She was a classmate of Leona Lewis and Jessie J Adele was given a recording contract by XL Recordings after a friend posted her demo on Myspace.

An appearance she made on Saturday Night Live in late 2008 boosted her career in the US. At the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in 2009, Adele received the awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Adele released her second studio album, 21, in early 2011. The album has been certified 16 times platinum in the UK, and is the fourth bestselling album in the UK of all time. She is the first woman in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 to have three simultaneous top 10 singles as a lead artist.
PHOTO : DANNY KAAN Adele has cited the Spice Girls as a major influence in regard to her love and passion for music, stating that, "they made me what I am today". While “Someone like You” was at number one on the US chart, Adele's previous single, "Rolling in the Deep" was still at number four. With that achievement, Adele became the first living artist since The Beatles in 1964, who simultaneously had two top five hits in the charts. Adele is one of four female artists to have an album chart at number one for more than 13 weeks (the other three artists being Judy Garland, Carole King, and Whitney Houston). In July 2012, Adele was listed at number six in Forbes list of the world's highest-paid celebrities under the age of 30, having earned £23 million ($35 million) between May 2011 and May 2012. She has 5 tattoos: two on her left wrist, one on each hand, and one behind her right ear.
She is the first female artist to simultaneously have two albums in the top five of the Billboard 200 and two singles in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. 21 is the longest-running number one album by a female solo artist in the history of the UK and US Album Charts. Adele released her third studio album, 25, in 2015. It became the year’s best-selling album and broke first week sales records in the UK and US. The lead single, “Hello”, became the first song in the US to sell over one million digital copies within a week of its release.

ELECTRONIC DUO FROM MONTREAL
eat Market is college friends BLouis-Joseph Cliche and Max
Bellavance. In their Montreal hometown, these two fill rooms with fans eager to experience a set locally revered for both its rock energy and dancefloor appeal. Their goal: to bring electronic music to a live setting where they could express themselves as true musicians. We had a chance to talk about performing Live, first show, new LP, goals, fans and baths...
BEAT MARKET photos: Antoine La Rochelle
TMN How did you guys first meet, and how did you come up with the name? 2013, is that about when it all started for you? We first met while jamming in the same jazz class at the University of Montreal. We launched our first EP in 2011. The name Beat Market comes from an idea of rhythms and repetitive patterns that make people move. Do you remember the first song you guys did together? Kristel on the Red Magic album. The drum was the first instrument we recorded, it was a weird jam at first, but it soon became one of our favorite song! Even to this day‌
How would you describe your sound and style for someone who may not have heard of you? Electronic dance music, performed live. Analog keyboards, live drums and beat machines operated by two long-haired dudes. Favorite city for each of you to perform in? Louis-Jo: New-York, a city with such a wild energy! Max: London, for obvious reasons. Electronic music is a second nature to these guys! You can hear some pretty edgy music on the radio over there, which would be unthinkable in Montreal. When we go there, we’re definitely speaking the same language as them!
ellehcoR aL eniotnA :otohp 25
What are your fans going to be surprised to hear you listening to in your car? Traditional Pakistani music, African music
What is the electronic music scene like in Montreal? How does it compare to the U.S.? Have the U.S. fans been receptive to your music? Montreal is a great city for all kinds of arts. It is really open to new things. It’s true that we have less of a population there than in most major cities, so I guess the market is really smaller in a way. Canadian Electronic music is starting to make its way into the world, with acts such as Caribou, Grimes, Kaytranada, Pomo etc… We’ve only played one show in the US, in New York. We will be playing our first shows in Los Angeles in January. Let’s see what people think of our music at that time! The L.A. scene is really cool, so we’re not too worried, though.
What are your goals moving forward? Beat Market is all about performing live shows and we want to be more present on the US market. So I guess we will play a lot of shows in the future year over there. Also, we started to work with singers and the results are excellent, we’re currently collaborating more and more with vocalists and always looking for new and fresh voices. Our last single, “Turn Your Colors On,” is a collaboration with the New York band French Horn Rebellion. England and Germany are also part of the plan in the next few years.
Who are some other producers or musicians that you look up to? Producer or artist you'd like to work with? We have to mention Mr.Oizo. His beats and his visuals inspire us a lot. We actually like all the French touch scene! We also like Flying Lotus, Kaytranada etc… Tell us about your first show. What was that like? We had our lighted space ranger suits. We actually only remember the next morning….regaining consciousness in a bush near the bar we played…. You have a new single with “the silken R&B croon of guest star Malika Tirolien” "Doors." How did that come about? Montreal is a small music scene, Malika played a couple of times with Max and we though it would be great to collaborate. We were pleasantly surprised that she chose the song Doors, a long electro track, moodier than some of our funkier beats like See What I Mean (ft. Aiza)
If someone wants to find out more about EDMbiz where should they go? Facebook is probably the best and fastest way to learn more about EDMbiz, also Reddit etc… How active are the both of you in interacting with interacting with your fan on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook? We actually love the fact that we have a team to deal with those things. But when we have some funny adventures, we post it. 26
Any message you want to give to your fans and future fans out there? Or offer any services or offers of collaboration with others? Take more baths and prepare for our arrival. If you are an amazing singer, send us a message on soundcloud! Website: www.beatmarket.mu
For an up-and-coming artist, producer or DJ, what one piece of advice you guys would give to someone wanting to break into the music business or to be that next big producer/DJ?
"Try to find your own sound. If your music makes you happy, then you are on the right path. Someday it will work."

CAMERON NINO Meet The Next Generation Artist Cameron Nino
by Jeremiah Foster
We were recently introduced to a young musician - CAMERON NINO, who is making an impressionable mark in the music industry.
At the young age of 13, CAMERON NINO is currently the lead vocalist and guitarist for Seventh Nova – a Los Angeles based music project. Cameron finds inspiration in everything around him from nature to his friends & family, expressing himself in different genres of music, from Rock to Hip-Hop, making him a dynamic artist with a bright future. His first single, “On The Floor”, is available on iTunes, Amazon and Google, and is an exhilarating work.
NINO was born in Los Angeles, California on November 25, 2003. He is an outgoing, friendly and exuberant musician, breakout entertainer, recording artist, singer, songwriter, guitarist & producer who at 13 years of age has performed on some large stages and entertained hundreds of people at festivals, private venues and clubs.
To see Cameron perform is unlike any other experience as you will forget his age as you remain fixated and thrilled by his energy and enthusiasm. As we spoke with him, it became evident that Cameron is a philanthropist at heart and puts his convictions into action by seeking out and helping organizations that serve people in need. His empathy for people in general is quite remarkable for a person his age. He recently donated a significant sum to an organization that serves children in Kenya, and had previously donated his time and talent to other organizations that serve children in the United States. His current single is dedicated to one of these organizations, and any proceeds from the song will be donated to that organization. photo: Michael Vincent 30
Cameron also talked at length about sustainable practices and lifestyles, citing electric vehicles as a step in the right direction. In his song, he talks about "rolling down the strip with a Tesla grip", in reference to the auto manufacturer. His first song – “Back in the Day”, which was written in 2011, discusses the environment at length. In that song, he advised that people should "live like back in the day when Dinosaurs roamed the earth". In that song, he continues on rapping: “Don’t live black, live green.”
At the 2013 event, Cameron Nino and his band did covers of The Beatles, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath and Bon Jovi, an eclectic mix that had the audience riveted as he went from playing his acoustic guitar to shredding Tony Iommi's solo on Iron Man while singing Ozzie's lines.
So, we wanted to know how he got started 2012, while volunteering at the pastries and sweets booth at the Blessed Sacrament Carnival and Food Festival, he was asked if he wanted to go on stage and play the Star Spangled Banner on his acoustic guitar. He had just learned the song about a week before the event. He agreed to do so. He enjoyed the experience a lot. In 2013, the Carnival organizers invited him back. This time, a group of musicians was assembled to perform with him at the event. The group met for the first time on October 15, 2013 to begin rehearsing for the event. The event was a huge success, with the then unnamed group getting a prolonged ovation from the attendees. Ever since then, the organizers of the event have continued to invite Cameron Nino and his band Seventh Nova to perform every year. 31
In early 2014, Cameron Nino caught the attention of John Branca, one of the founders of Club 42 (www.club42online.com), a sports nonprofit that provides opportunities for inner city youth to compete in Baseball at the same level as their peers in more affluent neighborhoods. Shortly after he caught Mr. Branca's attention, in April of 2014, Johnny 'Buc' Lockwood, one of the co-founders of Club 42 invited Cameron to lead their effort in creating a mashup of select Michael Jackson and The Beatles songs. The resultant work was titled "All My People - A Tribute to Michael Jackson and The Beatles." This body of work is available on Soundcloud. Cameron's participation with Club 42 as a guest at their basketball tournaments afforded him the opportunity to meet and mingle with kids from inner city communities, an opportunity that he would never have had having spent his entire life in Laurel Canyon.
with music. Cameron revealed to us that in
photo: Michael Vincent www.michaelvincent.com
When you set a goal, stick to it no matter what it takes to accomplish it. It will sometimes be very difficult. To be famous is one thing, but to be a legend is another story
In addition to music, Cameron Nino has worked on a few film projects. He has worked with author and artist James Mihaley on a film based on Jim Mihaley’s book “You Can’t Have My Planet But Take My Brother, Please”. The book was listed as ‘Best Book of the Year 2013’ by the Bank Street College of Education in NYC. Currently, he is working on the theme song for a book by Newton Lee called "Google It."
Recently, Cameron's current release with his band - “ON THE FLOOR”, was selected to compete on the balloting for nomination for the Best Pop/Group Performance category in the 59th annual Grammy Awards. At the time of writing, the song is currently gathering votes for the first round of picks. photo: Michael Vincent
One of the reviewers, Laura Sullivan, a Grammy Winning Composer and Billboard Top 10 Recording Artist commented about Cameron:
"Wonderful to be introduced to Cameron and his music. He is a super star!!"
Photo: Robert John www.robertjohnphotography.com
With a busy schedule like his, Cameron Nino still finds time to do fun things like producing YouTube content, playing video games, and basketball. He also loves to swim. We believe that Cameron is set to attain stardom. We reckon he has the talent to go all the way!

avid Banks Opens Up About his childhood, favorite projects, what makes him laugh and more…
"that weird guy in that one movie"
What a pleasure it was to interview David Banks, who currently stars alongside Heather Graham in the film Half Magic, which will be in theaters early 2017. Banks has starred in over 100 national commercials in roles that include leading man, boyfriend, father and the regular guy/common man... David studied and performed at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, whose alumni includes John Lovitz, Will Farrell, Chris Katan, and Lisa Kudrow. David was recently selected to join Lisa Kudrow, Janeane Garofalo, and Fred Willard in the new cartoon Lovesick Fool, directed by Dominic Polcino (The Simpsons, Family Guy, and King of the Hill). David is also a writer and co-wrote the film CUT! Even with his crazy schedule, David was kind enough to interview with me. You’re really going to enjoy this talented guy!
photographer: Gaylord Hill
by Jeremiah Foster
"MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN SUCH A BIG PART OF MY LIFE" Tell us about your childhood. Describe your behavior as a child. Were you the class clown, or were you the "good boy"? Well I was that kid dressed in all black. I hate to use the word Emo but I had a fully stocked closet of Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne shirts [LAUGHS] I wasn't the kid leading my fellow boy scouts to camp. I didn't really break out of my shy shell until my final year of high school. I remember a few of my class mates asking me who I was and when did I transfer here? I'm like wait......Does a haircut and a sweater make that much of a difference? [LAUGHS]
Do you have more fun with acting or music? Music has always been such a big part of my life. It truly feeds the soul. I look forward to getting up on stage with my band as often as possible and breaking a few sticks in the process. I try to also catch at least one live show a month. I say this as I grab my jean jacket and head out the door to go see Queensryche and Armored Saint tonight! There is no better feeling than walking out of a concert and watching a band I grew up listening to on cassette tapes. Oops I think I just aged myself [LAUGHS]
How did you get into acting? Who/what motivated you to do so? I will never forget growing up in good old Petaluma California and watching my classmate Winona Ryder, then Horowitz who was equally as dark and Goth as I was and how amazing she was in drama class. I not only knew she was going to be huge, but I knew this was also something I wanted to do. I also remember one of my teachers Mr Reischling telling me I would be lucky to be able to hold a job at McDonalds [LAUGHS] I have always worked better when someone tells me I CAN'T do something. 40
What have been your favorite projects so far? I have the most fun when I can be as irritating and as obnoxious as I possibly can. I think I feel more at home with that. I remember hearing a quote from Dane Cook saying "bring as much as your own personality as you can to your work" Not that I'm like that all the time, but I'm not saying I don't have a collection of videos of me scaring my girlfriend on my cell phone [LAUGHS] OK I admit it, I'm pretty annoying. One of my favorite projects so far is a film called 5th of July with Jaleel White. I play a high strung, goofy cop that follows him around and makes his life a living hell.
"I HAVE NEVER SET OUT TO BE SUPER FAMOUS" How's it feel to finally be in the spotlight? I still like to be in the back with a dimly lit flickering light. I have never set out to be super famous. I have always said I will be the happiest being "that weird guy in that one movie" What makes you laugh the most? I'm a huge fan of the whole physical "over the top" comedy. Airplane, Top Secret, Threes Company, Gilligans Island, I think Don Knotts is my hero! I remember practicing his faces in the mirror as a child.
What's been your most rewarding/interesting on-set experiences so far? I remember booking a pilot called "What Would Trejo Do" Again my character was an odd fast talking type of guy. I had met the director Kevin Donovan on a previous commercial shoot and was able to work with him again on this pilot which was a real blessing. He is extremely talented and has a clear vision of what he wants, but also allowed us all to bring our own flavor and flair to the role. The pilot was just picked up, so to be able to see this come to fruition was a real gift. The cast is amazing! Danny Trejo, Clifton Collins Jr, Jason Mewes, Donal Logue, and Jacob Vargas.
If you could co-star in a feature with any actor who would it be? Ellen Burstyn! Everything she does is absolutely authentic in every way. I will never forget watching Requiem for a Dream and leaving the theater in tears. She steals each and every scene with just her eyes! I could watch her read the phone book and be entertained. What's a typical day for you on set? What's your favorite thing to do to pass the time? I will most likely be at the craft service table hogging the coffee or waiting for the next snack to be brought out. I will never be that guy taking pictures of my food and posting it since I'm too busy devouring it.
Lately to pass the time I have been watching classic MTV 80's videos online. Anytime I can go back and recapture a memory from my childhood from a certain song I am on it! What is it like to work with Heather Graham? I know actors say this all the time, but she was seriously one of the greatest actors I have ever worked with. Her talent and gift for comedy is such a wonderful thing to be around. She wrote and directed this film "Half Magic" Was I nervous? YES? Did the sound guy tell me he could hear my heart beating through the mic taped to my chest? YES? [LAUGHS] It's always a little difficult working with someone you had a little crush on. But her laugh definitely helped bring me back down to the not so nervous land. 42
What's next for you? I'm sort of addicted to working and staying busy but I'm really looking forward to shutting off my ADHD brain and spending the Holidays with my family. A table full of turkey and cherry pies is always a great excuse! Thank you, David!
