LUKE DENO has participated in tennis, basketball, and baseball for all four years. His previous awards include most improved and the sportsmanship award. His favorite memory is the Tri-County Massacre where they dominated them 84-51. His future plans include going to college for accounting and playing tennis. His favorite basketball drill is post academy because it helps him improve his position. Luke is most looking forward to bonding with his team and morning practices. His tradition includes eating at Pizza Hut every day before games. He is also involved in BPA, Roadies, and TL Interact. His personal goal for the season is to be on the All-County team.

OLIVER WRIGHT has participated in cross country, basketball, and track for all four years of his high school career. His favorite memory of basketball is watching his team win sectionals in 2020. His future plans are to go to college. His favorite basketball practice drill is 11 man because it is the most fun. He is most looking forward to playing with teammates and friends. His tradition before games is to play music. Oliver is involved in TL Interact, Champions 101, BPA, and Choir. His personal goal for this season is to win All White County.

COOPER PELL has played basketball for four years and tennis for one. His favorite memory of basketball is watching Saige Brandt eat an entire large pizza at Pizza Hut. His future plans are to attend Purdue University and major in Finance. His favorite drill is post academy because he loves improving skills. He is most looking forward to proving the haters wrong, having fun, and team bonding. His tradition is to go to Pizza Hut before games. He is involved in TL Interact, NHS, BPA and Roadies. His personal goal for the winter season is to achieve All White County.

HANNAH HODGEN has played basketball for 4 years and tennis for 2. Her previous awards for basketball include team player, sportsmanship, highest field goal percentage, and the highest 3 point percentage. Her favorite team memory is teepeeing coach Nickerson’s house. Her future plans are to attend IU Kokomo to play basketball. Her favorite basketball drill is scrimmaging because she loves playing against her teammates. She is most looking forward to Sectionals because she believes they have a good chance of winning this year. Her tradition is to always start her shoot arounds with a right-handed layup. Hannah also participates in Roadies, NHS, French Club, and Student Council. Her personal goals are to try and be more consistent as a player and to help her team in any way she can.

Her favorite memories with her team are the sleepovers at Addi Ward’s house. Her future plans are to play tennis in college while majoring in Biology to become a Dental Hygienist. Her favorite basketball drill is 11 man because she thinks it’s the most fun and it keeps the team on their feet. One of her traditions is to pray with her team before every game. Emma also participates in Roadies, National Honor Society, Student Council, Prom Committee, and BPA. Her personal goal for the season is to be a positive role model for her teammates while improving her own skills through out the season.

KORA PASS has played volleyball, basketball, and has thrown in track for all 4 years of high school. Her previous basketball awards include most improved, most rebounds, most blocks, best field goal percentage, and junior point leader. Her favorite memory is the dance circles in the locker room. Her future plans are to go to college to become a Forensic Psychologist. Her favorite basketball drill is USI because it is a fun way to improve the team’s skills. She is most looking forward to beating the teams they lost against in previous years. Her superstition includes not washing her ankle braces throughout the entire season. She also participates in Prom Committee, Make a Wish, TLI, and Roadies. Her personal goals are to improve statistically and to be a better teammate.

EVELYN SCHARER has played basketball for 10 years. During her freshman year, she was awarded All Conference. She was also a part of the Franciscan Hoops All Tournament team. Her favorite memory of basketball is attending D1 Camp with her team each summer. Her future plans are to attend college to become a Neurologist. Her favorite practice drill is 3 on 2, 4 on 3 because the team gets fired up. She is most looking forward to beating Benton Central and advancing to Regionals. Her tradition involves her teammate, Hannah Hodgen, leading them in a team prayer before the game. She is involved in TL Roadies, BPA, Yearbook, Student Council, and is the treasurer of Make A Wish Club. Evelyn’s personal goal of this season is to have a good time during her senior

ADDISON WARD has played basketball for four years and ran cross country for two. She has won the player of the year award and holds the record for most assists in a game. Her favorite memory of basketball is winning. Her future plans are to attend Purdue and major in Psychology. Her favorite basketball practice drill is the Shell Drill because it hypes up the team and they have a lot of fun. She is most looking forward to not losing. Her traditions are stretching and hugging Olivia at half court. Addi is the Class Vice President of 2023 and is involved in Roadies, Chess Club, and Make a Wish. Her personal goals are the assist record, a higher free throw percentage, and to ultimately win Conference.

ANTONIA EHLGOTZ exchange student from Karlsruhe, Germany so this is her first year playing basketball so she is thankful for the coaches and team’s patience as she learns the sport. She has played soccer for 7 years and tennis for 2 years. Her favorite memory is making her first rebound in a game. The drill she likes the most is the machine that sends balls at you to enable you to shoot rapidly. She is looking forward to spending time with her team, and her personal goal is to make her team and coaches proud. She is also involved in TL Interact club, and in the future she would like to work with her hands and build things.

CAYDEN DUNBAR has swam four all 4 years of high school. He has also participated in BPA and Principals Club. His previous swimming awards include making it to sectionals all 4 years. His favorite memory of high school swimming is beating Mya Thompson’s fly time. His future plans include attending Kelley School of Business and studying sales and marketing. His favorite swimming drill is underwater, and he is most looking forward to making it to state this season. His tradition includes throwing up after every first meet, and his personal goals are to swim harder and farther.

LIAM STERNFELDT has participated in swimming for 3 years along with taking part in Roadies. His favorite memory is swimming at Sectionals honoring Mya Thompson with her name written on his back. His future plans include attending college and pursuing a degree in political science pre-law. His favorite swimming drill is widths because he can beat his whole team due to being 6’4. This season he is looking forward to winning sectionals and his personal goal is winning the Hoosier Conference.

JUSTIN SCOTT has ran cross country, swam, and ran track for all four years of high school. His favorite memory of swimming is Sectional Dinner. His future plan is to go to a college for Sports Management. His favorite drill is 25 sprints because it makes him feel fast. KEEGAN STEWART has participated in football and swimming for his entire high school career. He has received varsity letters in football and swimming. His favorite memory of swimming is that at his old school his team all backflipped off the diving board after their meet. His future plans are to go to Lincoln Tech. His favorite practice drill is IM drills. He is most looking forward to improving his times as the season goes on. His tradition before swim meets is to eat goldfish. Keegan is an office TA and he is a peer tutor. His personal goals are to work hard, get good grades, and swim good times.

AIDEN TOTTEN is a three-sport athlete. He has participated in swimming for four years, track for four years, and football for one. He has won the Most Points award four times and Most Improved award once. His favorite memory of swimming is going to state. His future plans are to get a scholarship to Purdue and become a car designer. His favorite swim drill is Infinite relays because it is two teams and whatever team catches the other wins. He is looking forward to getting records and going to state for the third time. His tradition is to go to Taco

EVAN VOGEL has swam for two years and played golf for ten. His favorite memory of swimming was the sign from Harrison. His future plans are to attend college. His favorite swim drill is widths because it is the easiest. He is most looking forward to winning Sectionals this year. Evan believes that birds are not real. He is involved in Roadies. His personal goals this year are getting big and succeeding in Sectionals and hopefully regionals.

KELSEY FREWARD has swam for two years and played volleyball for three. Her favorite memory from swimming is the Christmas party that the team held last year. Her future plans are to go to Ivy Tech to get her CNA and get her prerec’s done to give her more time to think about her future. Her favorite swim drill is infinite relays. Her favorite memory from swimming is being with all the seniors from freshman year. She wishes to continue schooling in Tennessee to become a jeweler. Her favorite swimming drill is starts because it is easy and fun. She is most looking forward to making it to regionals for diving. Her traditions are participating in Secret Santa.
