Kevin Sayler is a PE teacher/football coach at Twin Lakes High School. Sayler has 12 years of coaching experience. He played football, baseball, and swam. Coach Sayler has been coaching at Twin Lakes for two years. His favorite quote is “We Before Me.” He is married and has two kids.

Steve Snyder is approaching his 45th year coaching football. He participated in football in high school. This is his 22nd year coaching at Twin Lakes. He has been married for 45 years to Linda, and has 3 kids and 4 grandkids. Snyder’s favorite memory as a coach was when he was a head coach at Greensburg and then defeated Salem 9-7 to win the 1989 Sectional. His favorite quote is “We’re burning daylight.”

Edward Tilley has been coaching football for 30 years. This is his second year at Twin Lakes. His favorite coaching memory is watching his former players become great men. Tilley is married to his wife of 33 years Barbara and has a son who is an actor in Chicago, and a daughter who is a Graduate Assistant for University of Oklahoma football team. Boomer Sooner!!

// COACH McFADDEN

Coach McFadden has been coaching high school athletics for over ten years. While a student at TLHS, he obtained ten varsity letters in football, wrestling, and track. He attended Eastern Arizona College and then went into the Army. While in the Army, McFadden played softball and football. Some of his achievements include being a softball coach for the U.S. Army, becoming the Division Champions, and winning the 2ID Olympic Team silver medal.

Coach Akers has been coaching for five years, all at Twin Lakes. His favorite coaching memory is winning the softball sectionals in 2018. He is married to Kelsey and a son named Reed. His favorite quote is “Do or do not, there is no try.”

Michael Tinich is a math teacher/coach at Twin Lakes High School. Tinich coached varsity football at Griffith High School and was a football manager for Purdue from 2009-2013. He has been coaching at Twin Lakes for four years. His favorite memory was beating Central Catholic in overtime in 2018. His favorite quote is “Today I will do what others won’t so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.” - Jerry Rice. Mr.Tinich is married to Ali and has two kids Dallas and Vera.

Coach Eddie Greear attended Kankakee Community College before becoming a football, basketball, and baseball coach of 22 years. Greear loves Friday night lights. He is married to Michelle and has four kids; Halli, Drew, Maddi and Jase; and two grandkids Mia and Noah. His favorite quote is “Practice like you’ve never won. Play like you’ve never lost.”

Kevin Anderson has been coaching football for 15 years. Anderson played football in high school and wrestled. He played football at Saint Joseph’s College. Mitchell Coffing is a first year coach at Twin Lakes. He played football in highschool. Coffing is married to his wife Robi and has a son named Dean. His favorite quote is “Once you know what failure feels like, determination chases success.” - Kobe Bryant.

Ryan Businger is a football coach at Twin Lakes High School. He has 12 years of coaching experience, he participated in football and basketball at Twin Lakes. He has currently been at Twin Lakes for 6 years and his favorite coaching memory is winning the WCJC title with his 7th grade team. Ean Bowsman plays football, basketball, and baseball. His favorite memory playing football was when he scored his first touchdown against West Lafayette. His future plan is to go to college and major in business. His favorite quote is “Someone may be more talented than me, but no one will outwork me.” One of his big accomplishments is collecting 9 varsity letters in his high school career.

Ethan Bowsman plays football, basketball, and baseball. His future plans are to go to college and major in either athletic training or business. Todd Fitzpatrick’s favorite memory is the junior varsity game against Central Catholic in 2019. His future plans are to go to college. Todd’s favorite quote is, “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe then you’ll be successful.”

Brandon Franscoviak plays football and runs track. His future plan is to go to an undecided college to continue his football career. the head Unified Flag Football coach. Coach Anderson has 8 years of coaching experience and has been the head coach of unified sports for 3 years. Coach Anderson had played football for 15 year including his time at Saint Joseph’s College. Coach Andersons favorite memory was the 1 st home game against West Lafayette. Coach Andersons favorite quote “Just remember, football is 80% mental and 40% physical.”

is a coach for UFF, Unified Flag Football. Coach Venters has 15 years of experience in the coaching realm. Coach Venters has participated in sports in high school. ALLEN Cody participates in unified flag football, theatre and TLI. His favorite memory in Unified is seeing progression and building friendships. His favorite practice drill is passing practice. Cody’s personal goal is to do his best, and he is looking forward to going to state this season. Cody’s plans after high school are to attend college close to home.

anderson asbell Matthew is involved in unified flag football, swimming, and unified track. His favorite memory is scoring 4 touchdowns in sectionals last year. Matthew’s future plans are to attend college to study Political Science. His favorite quote is, “Don’t chop at it, it’s not a sword.” Matthew has won the Indian award for Unified Sports.

Allie

Savannah Asbell is involved in Unified Flag Football, Bowling, Corn Toss, Unified Track, and horseback riding. Her favorite memory is being with her friends and learning the sport. Savannah’s future plans are to work at Jordans and come back next year to play again. Her favorite quote is, “Keeping my friends out of trouble and keeping them in line.” She has several first place medals, patches, ribbons and letters.

vandoren wisinski Follow our student produced news website for all things Twin Lakes. Mallory VanDoren is involved in unified flag football, unified track, and swimming. During the winter she does swimming and during the spring she is involved in unified track. Her favorite memory of swimming is when she placed ninth at sectional for the 100 butterfly. When VanDoren is not in school she is working at Kroger and excelling in sports. Her future plan is to go to college and study marine biology. Recently, she won the Larry Crabb Sportsmanship Award.

Coach Ousley has been coaching multiple sports for 25 years. She is in her 20th year of coaching at Twin Lakes, and this is her eleventh year coaching tennis. She played tennis for her high school. Her most rewarding moment was handing her oldest son his varsity letter in tennis. She is the mom to Jamison (10th). One of her many favorite quotes is, “The person that said winning isnt everthing, never won anything.”

Coach Nickerson has been coaching for 24 years, 15 years in tennis and all 24 in basketball. He played tennis in high school and at St. Joe College. His favorite memories at Twin Lakes are the difficult tasks of winning sectionals, and he has been blessed to see that many times. His favorite quote is by Wayne Gretzky, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” He is married to Jamie and has 3 children, Ryan (17), Olivia (15) and Kassi (10).

Hayden Hubbard is a three sport athlete. He plays tennis, basketball and golf. His favorite moment of playing tennis is winning two sectional championships. He is one of very few that has won sectionals in every sport in an academic year. His future plans are to go to college and acheive a business degree. He received the most improved award his sophomore year and had the best record his junior year.
