DAY 2
Cruise to the picturesque little town of Cavtat in Croatia where the custom formalities are to be performed. The small medieval town of Cavtat is both the tourist and cultural center of Konavle region. Originally, the town was a Greek settlement called Epidaurus.
Continue your charter from Kotor to the small islet of St. Stefan, just southeast of the famed Budva Riviera, which provides a tranquil pebble beach with destination views. Attached to the mainland by a narrow path, this is arguably one of the most picturesque resorts. A fortified village dating back to the 15th century, the island of Sveti Stefan is a uniquely atmospheric setting of cobbled lanes, handsome courtyards and serene sea views. This unusual and unique place remained the same from 1960’s. There are three small churches on the islet: St. Stefan, after which the island received its name and it is located at the highest part of the island, the Church of Alexander Nevski and the smallest church called “Preobrazenje”.

Without Cavtat, there would be no Dubrovnik, as the refugees from Epidaurus established the city of Dubrovnik. For wild swimming, head to scenic Polace Bay in Mljet, described as Croatia’s greenest island. Two saltwater lakes surrounded by a lush, green forest make this area a spectacular location for cycling, swimming and paddle boarding, not to mention venturing off the beaten path to explore one of eight National Parks.

Nekada ostrvo, Sveti Stefan je sada uskim putem povezan sa kopnom. Ovo neobično i jedinstveno mjesto ostalo je nepromijenjeno od 60-ih godina prošlog vijeka. Na ostrvcu su i tri manje crkve: Sveti Stefan, po kojoj je ostrvo i dobilo ime, nalazi se na najuzvišenijoj tački ostrva, potom crkva Aleksandra Nevskog, i najmanja crkva „Preobraženje“.
