│前言│ 淡江大學建築系在大一設計課上的教學目標主要有 二。 一是「紀律」,另一則是「表達」。 「從做中學」,是我們讓同學們體驗一個設計思考 的產生,透過雙手藉由媒材表現抽象思考的過程具 現化。透過作業的練習一方面培養紀律的養成,另 一方面則是練習表達的過程。在一週二次 ( 星期一、 星期四 ) 的設計課中,老師們檢視同學的創作思考 過程,並用討論與教學方式誘導學生們往更深層與 明確的方向發展。 而設計實習課程 ( 星期一、四上午 9:30 到 12:00) 則被定義為「設計課補充教學課程」,這也將教學 目標做一種配比上的分配。設計課有較多的比例是 在於與學生溝通 " 表達 " 這部分的訓練,”紀律” 的訓練則就由設計實習課程的助教們擔任這項任 務。 本學期的設計實習課程,助教們除了配合設計課題 目所需的補充教學外,在紀律的訓練上,我們將實 習課小作業做一個主題性的設計,配合展覽與評圖 交流活動,讓同學在實習課的訓練上以較輕鬆易執 行的態度來完成紀律上的訓練。其中在「成就感」 的獲得是相較於設計課更容易取得的。

[Cube and More Cubes] 是淡江建築大一的經典 題目之一,這個題目主要的訓練目地不外乎在於耐 心的磨鍊與立方形體的變化掌控。這一題往往也是 大一新生們所面臨的第一道關卡,評分的標準非常 客觀,第一階段甚至簡單到只有 " 通過 " 與 " 不通 過”這兩種結果。配合這一個題目,設計實習課則 嘗試了一個簡單的小作業讓同學們熱身。 這個小作業先要求同學們在一個小時內完成單片 10cmX10cm 紙板切割,隨後用兩個小時的時間完 成一個立體小 cube 模型,只要有未於時限內完成、 尺寸不精準、紙板黏合有 1mm 以上誤差、模型髒 污等情況,經助教審查,不合格者一率重做。這個 作業需要細心與耐心方能完成,然而在第一次執 行的成果,全班 103 位同學僅有 6 位同學合格通 過,97 位同學在他們的小作業上得到了一個大大 的”R”字,代表重做的意思。這個作業就這樣執 行了兩天半,大家才通過基本測試,才進行真正的 設計作業進行。


Introduction Tamkang University Department of Architecture at the teaching freshman design course has two main objectives. First, the "discipline", the other is "expression." This job requires a careful and patience to complete, but the results of the first run, the class 103 students pass through only six students, 97 students in their small jobs to get on a big "R" word , on behalf of redo meaning.
