The differences in interest, opinions and goals make conflict inevitable in an organisation. The study examined the
influence of conflict management strategies on the organisational effectiveness of selected manufacturing firms in Rivers
State. A census study was carried out, and the population comprises the46 management staffs of the firms. The findings
revealed a strong significant correlation between the dimension of conflict management strategies and the measures of
organisational effectiveness. The study concludes that there is a significant relationship between conflict management
strategies and organisational effectiveness.
