2 0 TechCon 13 CANADA My Pocket Program

September 12-13th Calgary, Canada

Presented By Analytics You Rely On

Welcome I

t is with great pleasure that I welcome you to TechCon Canada 2013. This is the second TechCon Canada and the 43rd TechCon Worldwide. The TechCon Conferences attract an international collection of delegates, presenters and exhibitors every year. The cumulative attendance reached nearly 700 from more than 60 countries.

Though this is our second Tech Con Canada, it is not the first TechCon to share the spotlight with CIGRÉ . Every other year, CIGRÉ coincides with TechCon Asia Pacific in Sydney, Australia. It is there, in May 2011, that this conference was imagined. A lot of time and hard work goes into organizing a conference, and I would first like to thank our enthusiastic planning committee, whose efforts are essential for building the technical program; their work this year has been excellent. I also want to thank the unnamed members of the conference planning team who have worked diligently to deliver a very successful event. Most significantly, I want to thank everyone attending the conference: the sponsors, our exhibitors, our presenters, who often prepare this material on their own time, out of their dedication to this industry, and all our delegates for whom this conference is organized. Great success to all of you! Dave Hanson President TJH2b Analytical Services
