THE DESIGN

Antonio Citterio reflects: “When I think about design and what it represents today, the concept comes to mind of a new modernity, which could very pithily be summed up as ‘leaving an inheritance.’
It is an expression used to explain my approach to contemporary design. The idea is to operate by thinking that you are creating something that will be inherited by someone: an object that is able to create ‘memory,’ just as a building conceived for a given, nonephemeral time span can reinforce the identity of a place.”

It is a two-story building that incorporates outdoor spaces, including a spacious 300 sqm terrace and a charming 200 sqm patio, seamlessly connected to the indoor distribution of the rooms.
